Joshua Lee Gingerich, 31, of W. Ninth Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 100 block of W. Ninth Street at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated unauthorized transactions were made with her credit card.
Police responded to a report of a runaway juvenile in the 1400 block of Idlewild Drive at 3:43 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a “juvenile ran (away) from home with another juvenile” without their parents’ approval.
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 100 block of W. Sixth Street at 8:52 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person indicated an ex-boyfriend is calling her and her friends and harassing them.
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 100 block of Cottonwood Drive at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. The reporting person said she believed her son was overdosing.
Amparo Maria Gray, 24, of Marion was cited for license forfeiture (driving under suspension – child support) on Walnut Street at 9:07 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 200 block of N. Cherry Street at 1:29 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of assault involving a juvenile in the 1800 block of Welsh Place at 1:26 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of property damage in the 900 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 9:28 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate there was damage to the bollard near the menu board at Biggby Coffee.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and Adult Probation Officers went to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to take custody of Austin T. Crain, 27, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:08 a.m. Wednesday. The male was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Clark Dawson Road to investigate a possible violation of a protection order at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department and Marysville Fire Department were dispatched to Route 38 near Kleiber Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2015 Kia Soul that failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway, went across a deep ditch and came to rest on the other side at 3:26 p.m. Thursday. One person was transported to Memorial Health.
A deputy met with an officer from the Gahanna Police Department to take custody of Shannon M. Deardorff, 37, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:56 p.m. Wednesday. The female was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Cobb Harriman Road for a report of a person having a mental health crisis at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Tiffani J. Hunter, 37, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday. The female was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a report of an unruly juvenile at 8:08 p.m. Wednesday.
While on patrol, a deputy was advised of a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda Accord that struck a deer in the 24000 block of Yearsley Road at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy assisted an officer from the Marysville Police Department in investigating a domestic dispute between a mother and son that occurred at a residence in the 200 block of N. Cherry Street at 1:36 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a vacant lot on Rose Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:20 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy and unit from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources were dispatched to the 24000 block of Route 31 to investigate a report of subjects hunting on a property without permission at 11:46 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with an officer from the Columbus Police Department to take custody of Yalon L. Carter, 24, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:44 p.m. Thursday. The male was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
