According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Kerry Lee Besece, 57, of Richwood was cited for operation of vehicle at stop signs and leaving the scene of an accident in the 200 block of Collins Avenue at 7:54 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the citations stemmed from a Nov. 25 hit-skip complaint in which Besece allegedly traveled through an intersection and struck the right rear quarter panel of another vehicle, then failed to stop after the accident.
Melissa Baker, 41, whose address is unlisted, was cited for driving while under the influence in the 1000 block of Collins Avenue at 10:55 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Baker was stopped after her vehicle experienced a flat tire, then cited for OVI.
Jameison B. Snider, 42, of W. Sixth Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 800 block of W. Sixth Street at 10:45 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate a warrant for his arrest was issued on Oct. 28 by Marysville Municipal Court.
Police responded to a report of an assault in the 400 block of Wind Mil Drive at 12:26 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of Grand Avenue at 1:03 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of an unattended vehicle on U.S. 33 at Route 31 at 4:12 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an abandoned vehicle was towed.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 6:18 p.m. Friday. The reporting person found a laptop on the side of Watkins Road near Coughlin Dodge.
Police responded to a report of criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of N. Main Street at 8:42 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a person was asked to leave Rural King and refused.
Police conducted a death investigation in the 100 block of N. Oak Street at 2:17 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 500 block of N. Main Street at 3:38 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Aspen Drive at 7:34 p.m. Saturday. The reporting person indicated his roommate moved out and took items that belonged to him.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat involving a juvenile in the 800 block of Collins Avenue at 3:48 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 5:55 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a driver was parked in a business parking lot and was struck in the rear bumper by an unknown vehicle.
Police responded to a report of breaking and entering that occurred in the 15000 block of Watkins Road at 4:18 a.m. Sunday. An alarm drop occurred at C&N Motor Cars.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 200 block of N. Cherry Street at 1:29 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate “threats were made to pull (the victim) out of the house at gunpoint.”
Police responded to a report of drug abuse (marijuana) in the 600 block of Meadows Drive at 4:25 p.m. Sunday. The reporting person advised there were “individuals in a vehicle listening to loud music and smoking marijuana.”
Police responded to a report of an accident involving Danny E. Miller, 62, of W. Sixth Street that occurred on Industrial Parkway at Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 7:52 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate Miller was driving northbound on Industrial Parkway and was struck on the driver side of his vehicle by a deer. He did not experience any apparent injuries as a result of the incident.

A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Route 4 south to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado that struck a deer at 7:25 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a property in the 12000 block of Route 347 to investigate a trespassing complaint at 8:55 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to the Community Green on Main Street in Unionville Center to investigate damage to the power cords of the Christmas decorations at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 347 for a dispute between a male and female at 11:37 a.m. Friday. The parties were separated.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to Route 4 south of Collins Avenue for a property damage crash involving a 2008 Honda Civic that struck the back of a 2020 Toyota Camry at 1:24 p.m. Friday. The juvenile driver of the Honda was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy met with a resident from the 7000 block of Brock Road to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently filed unemployment claim at 2:18 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Route 347 to take possession of a Suzuki King Quad All-Terrain Vehicle that was found abandoned in a creek at 3:43 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Industrial Parkway for a property damage crash involving a 2017 Honda HR-V that was struck by a 2008 Saturn Vue at 11:09 a.m. Saturday. The driver of the Saturn, Wendy A. Knox, 59, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a through highway.
A deputy was sent to a residence on Main Street in Unionville Center to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:48 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 9700 block of Briarwood Drive to investigate damage to the exterior of the home that was caused by a hunting arrow at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Route 31 and Wheeler Green Road for an injury crash involving a 2012 Freightliner semi-truck that struck a 2013 Nissan NV200 at 6:56 p.m. Saturday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a fight at the Richwood Lake at 10:34 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and a Marysville Police Officer were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Collins Road to investigate a possible burglary at 12:10 a.m. Sunday. During the investigation, Michael L. Norris, 45, of North Lewisburg was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Champaign County. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a possible protection order violation that occurred at a residence in the 23000 block of Morse Road at 6:16 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 10000 block of Maple Dell Road to take possession of Graco Paint Sprayer and a Troy Built snowblower that were found abandoned in a tree line at 6:45 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Myers Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 8:14 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a church parking lot in the 17000 block of Waldo Road for a trespassing complaint involving a vehicle at 8:42 p.m. Sunday. After further investigation, an occupant of the vehicle, Roy L. Anderson, 38, of Columbus was arrested for violating a protection order. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
