Police responded to a report of a theft in the 1500 block of Fox Fire Drive at 8:28 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 12:02 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a theft occurred at Wal-Mart.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 2300 block of Trophy Drive at 4:07 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 700 block of Arabian Circle at 4:43 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate a resident reported “suspicious activity and theft of mail.”
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
As a result of a traffic stop on Route 4 near Scott Farms Boulevard, deputies arrested Jonathan M. Howlett, 21, of Marion for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 12:50 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 21000 block of Liberty West Road for an unruly juvenile at 1:03 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 20000 block of Dog Leg Road for a trespassing complaint at 2:08 a.m. Monday. As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Alarik P. Madigan, 18, of Bellefontaine for criminal trespassing. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy went to Holycross Epps Road in the area of Clark Dawson Road to take possession of a United States Post Office mail tub that was found in the creek at 10:57 a.m. Monday. The mail tub was returned to the post office.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Billy R. Vanover, 39, of Celina for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:10 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Freightliner semi-truck that was struck by a 2000 Ford Ranger at 12:10 p.m. Monday. The juvenile driver of the Ford was issued a traffic citation for failure to control a motor vehicle.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department with a property damage crash that occurred on Dunham Street near Columbus Avenue at 2:36 p.m. Monday.
Deputies responded to the 8700 block of Route 736 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Kia Spectra that lost control, struck a 2018 Dodge Caravan, drove off the roadway and then struck a utility pole at 2:43 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Kia, Ryan R. Perez, 19, of Marysville was issued a citation for failure to control a motor vehicle.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Hillview Road to investigate a report of an unconfined dog running loose in the area at 2:55 p.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to Route 736 near Hickory Ridge Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Honda CR-V that struck a deer at 6:08 p.m. Monday.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2002 Maserati Spyder that lost control, drove off the roadway and struck several bricks and a tree in the 27000 block of Route 31 at 6:56 p.m. Monday. The driver, Eric L. Grimes, 51, of Plymouth, Michigan was issued a citation for failure to control a motor vehicle.
A deputy responded to Route 38 near Burns Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Ford Focus that lost control, drove off the roadway and struck a tree at 7:19 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9100 block of Hinton Mill Road to investigate a report of a person threatening self-harm at 7:43 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Maryhaven for evaluation.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 33000 block of Fields Road to investigate a dispute between former roommates at 8:32 p.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Mitchell-Dewitt Road and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Ford Focus that lost control, drove off the roadway and struck a stop sign at 9:08 p.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Route 347 to investigate a report of a person threatening self-harm at 9:11 p.m. Monday. The person was transported to Maryhaven for evaluation.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 31 and Bitler Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Honda Odyssey that lost control, drove off the roadway and struck a stop sign at 9:37 p.m. Monday.
Deputies investigated a property damage crash that occurred on Route 37 near Bethlehem Claibourne Road involving a 2006 Honda Civic that lost control, drove off the roadway and into a cemetery, striking several gravestones at 11:58 p.m. Monday. The driver, Tiffany E. Lewis, 40, of Richwood was issued a citation for failure to control a motor vehicle.
