According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Austin Tyler Bursler, 21, of Meadows Drive was cited for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at 15800 block of U.S. 36 at 2:51 a.m. Monday.
Zachary Riegel, 19, of Fox Fire Drive was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 6:08 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Riegel struck a fire hydrant and left the scene of the accident without reporting it.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 800 block of Watkins Glen Blvd. at 12:06 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 500 block of Amrine Mill Road at 1:41 p.m. Monday. The reporting person indicated his daughter ran away.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to the covered bridge on Inskeep Cratty Road near Route 245 to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that struck the covered bridge and then left the scene at 5:22 a.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to Route 739 west of Carter Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Dodge Ram that struck a deer at 5:51 a.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to the 21000 block of Route 47 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Ford Taurus that struck a deer at 5:53 a.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Honda Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Honda Odyssey that struck a deer at 7:39 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 9200 block of Scheiderer Road to investigate a possible scam involving an asphalt company at 10:23 a.m. Monday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs for a person having a mental health crisis at 10:40 a.m. Monday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of North Darby Coe Road to investigate a lost firearm at 3:04 p.m. Monday.
A deputy met with Sunbury Police Department officer to take custody of Phillip M. Finnegan, 27, of Sunbury for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:40 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
