According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of theft in the 700 block of Watkins Road at 11:54 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a subject was sent a fake check in the mail as a payment.
Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 900 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a male was transported to Memorial Hospital following a reported overdose.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat at an unlisted address at 11:48 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Angela Marie Gamble, 53, of Urbana that occurred on Route 4 at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Gamble was traveling north on Route 4 in front of Bunsold Middle School and struck a deceased deer in the roadway. The driver was reportedly “unable to see the deer in time to avoid a collision.” The driver did not experience any apparent injuries.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Thomas K. Bautsch, 71, of Cowan Creek Drive and William Edward Shane Seagraves, 38, of Columbus that occurred on Dunham Avenue at East Sixth Street at 9:13 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Bautsch was driving south on Dunham Avenue while Seagraves was driving in the opposite direction. Seagraves reportedly lost control in the snow and went left of center then struck Bautsch’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Seagraves was cited for failure to control.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Subaru Forester that struck a 2009 Ford Escape at 8:27 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Subaru, Kamron I. Knowlton, 22, of Cranesville, Pennsylvania was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to the 28000 block of Route 31 for a physical dispute between a client and a caregiver that occurred in a vehicle at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
As a result of a traffic stop in the 11000 block of U.S. 42, a deputy recovered drugs from a 1999 Ford F-350 at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Hinton Mill Road to investigate a dispute between an estranged husband and wife involving shared property at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 13000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive to investigate the theft of an all-terrain vehicle ignition key at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday.
