According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 17000 block of Route 31 at 8:48 a.m. Friday. The reporting person advised “her work received a voicemail claiming false accusations about her.”
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 100 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 10:05 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate items found at Walgreens were turned over to MPD.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 500 block of Allenby Drive at 11:17 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate officers “were dispatched to the east side of the city on the report of a theft. (The victim) was located and stated she was scammed out of thousands of dollars.”
Police responded to assist another agency on Wells Road at U.S. 42 at 1:29 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the Union County Sheriff’s Office “requested a K9 sniff of a vehicle they had stopped.”
Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Taylor Avenue at 4:07 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an individual had an unauthorized charge made to her bank account.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 6:05 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a male “surrendered a shotgun to the police department.”
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1000 block of Lydia Drive at 5:02 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Bradley L. Conley, 63, of Martin Welch Road and Caleb Ira Dilsaver, 18, of Tarragon Drive that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 12:27 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Conley was traveling west on Delaware Avenue near the Hogan Tire while Dilsaver was traveling behind him. Both units were stopped in traffic near the tracks when Dilsaver struck the rear of Conley’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations are listed in the incident report.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Faith Richardson, 29, of Maple Street, a juvenile driver and Lori Parsley, 55, of Brookstone Drive that occurred on Maple Street at 4:28 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Richardson struck the rear of the juvenile driver’s vehicle, which caused her to strike Parsley’s vehicle. None of the drivers experienced any apparent injuries. Richardson was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a juvenile driver, Joshua Richard Zoppa, 24, of Delaware and Michael Aloys Giere, 66, of Fawn Meadow Drive that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 4:57 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the juvenile driver was traveling east on Delaware Avenue and struck the rear of Zoppa’s vehicle, which caused him to strike the rear of Giere’s vehicle. None of the drivers experienced any apparent injuries, but the juvenile driver was checked at the scene by the Marysville Division of Fire. The juvenile driver was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Justin L. Ghent, 39, of East Seventh Street was cited for license forfeiture (driving under suspension – child support) and expired or unlawful license plates in the 300 block of E. Seventh Street at 9:32 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of property damage in the 17000 block of Mill Road at 12:48 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a downed tree caused property damage to fencing along Mill Road, north of Northwood Drive, owned by the homeowners’ association.
Police responded to a report of theft of a motor vehicle in the 800 block of Watkins Glen Blvd. at 7:02 p.m. Saturday. An individual reported that he believes his vehicle was stolen.
Vivette Lotte Blaha, 47, of East Fifth Street was cited for disorderly conduct in the 500 block of E. Fifth Street at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat involving a juvenile that occurred in the 600 block of Milford Avenue at 11:32 p.m. Sunday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to the 21000 block of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2002 Ford Explorer that lost control, drove off the road and struck a mailbox at 7:35 a.m. Friday. The driver, Caleb J. Ross, 20, of Kenton was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Ford F-150 that struck a 2014 Honda CR-V at 9:23 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on East State Street in Milford Center for a person threatening self-harm at 10:33 a.m. Friday. After further investigation, Macee R. Neubauer, 21, of Milford Center was arrested for several outstanding arrest warrants. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy on patrol stopped to check a disabled 2009 Mini Cooper that was parked in a driveway in the 9000 block of Wells Road at 1:17 p.m. Friday. After further investigation, the vehicle was determined to have been stolen from the State of Massachusetts. Firearms and drugs were found in the vehicle. The driver, Francisco P. Gonzalez, 36, of Fall River, Massachusetts was arrested for receiving stolen property, criminal damaging, having weapons under disability and possession of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 24000 block of Ford Reed Road to investigate a dispute between a property owner and a tenant at 3:05 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 9000 block of Brock Road to investigate a burglary at 3:39 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated a fraudulent gift card scam involving an internet application that occurred at a residence in the 19000 block of Delaware County Line Road at 9:56 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Long Road for a person found deceased by family members at 4:25 p.m. Saturday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
A deputy was dispatched to the 12000 block of Maple Ridge Road to investigate a dog bite involving a bicycle rider at 1:28 p.m. Sunday.
While assisting with a civil standby at a property in the 8000 block of Currier Road, deputies arrested Douglas M. Kimber, 47, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:16 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Department officer with a person experiencing a mental health crisis in the 100 block of North Franklin Street at 6 p.m. Sunday.
