Damian Bailey Thomas, 22, of North Lewisburg was arrested for falsification in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 12:01 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate a warrant was served by MPD. The arrest stemmed from an Oct. 21 accident Thomas was involved in.
Steve Jesus De La Cruz, 27, of Delaware was cited for driving under OVI or ALS suspension on U.S. 33 at 3:36 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate De La Cruz was stopped for having only one functioning headlight and was found to be driving under suspension.
Christopher Seth Moore, 42, of White Oak Court was cited for domestic violence in the 900 block of White Oak Court at 8:05 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Moore was cited after the victim reported being injured after being pushed into a wall during an argument with Moore.
Michael C. Schweibinz, 35, of Lancaster was cited for fictitious plates on Industrial Parkway at 11:23 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a dispute involving a juvenile in the 1100 block of Columbus Avenue at 10:43 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Dahir D. Jimale, 53, of Westerville that occurred on Mill Road at 10:41 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Jimale was driving a tractor trailer, trying to negotiate the roundabout on Mill Road and Northwoods Drive. Due to being a large tractor trailer, there was not enough room for the truck to safely travel through and the driver struck a city-owned street sign. No citations are listed in the incident report.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Jeffery D. Zupp, 72, of Autumn Lane and Megan M. Luft, 35, of Meadows Drive that occurred on Columbus Avenue at the railroad tracks at 9:33 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Zupp was traveling northbound on Columbus Avenue when he crossed the center line and struck Luft’s vehicle. Zupp did not experience any apparent injuries. Luft experienced suspected minor injuries and was transported by EMS from the Jerome Township Division of Fire. Zupp was cited for not driving in marked lanes.
Police responded to a report of criminal trespassing in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 1:39 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate individuals from Bible Baptist Church reported a concern that a potential unwanted guest was on their property and may return.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at midnight Saturday. The reporting person advised she found a multi-colored wallet containing various items.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 600 block of Milford Avenue at 7:28 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate MPD was dispatched to a theft that occurred nine days ago.
Police responded to a report of a death investigation in the 700 block of W. Fifth Street at 1:07 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of a felonious assault in the 2000 block of Shetland Street at 8:55 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department responded to Route 37 south of Askins Road for a property damage crash involving a 2020 Hyundai Kona that struck a deer at 7:31 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 15000 block of Bellepoint Road to resolve a dispute between a landlord and a tenant at 9:22 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Plain City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Sierra Woods Circle for a person found deceased at 11:04 a.m. Friday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 9000 block of Warner Road for a possible structure fire at 12:31 p.m. Friday. After further investigation, it was determined there was no fire but deputies found a person at the residence testing a homemade flame throwing device. The Franklin County Bomb Squad was called to the scene to dispose of the device.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Northwest Parkway and Cradler Turner Road for a property damage crash involving a 2016 Volvo XC9 that struck a 2010 Honda Civic at 12:43 p.m. Friday. The juvenile driver of the Volvo was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
A deputy was sent to a home in the 10000 block of New California Drive to investigate a fraud attempt involving an unemployment claim at 12:44 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown vehicle that backed into a building and left the scene at 3:33 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District were sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Main Street in Broadway for a person found deceased in the residence at 5:27 p.m. Friday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
While searching for a vehicle involved in a driving complaint on U.S. 33, deputies located and stopped the vehicle on Mill Road at 7:24 p.m. Friday. After further investigation, deputies recovered a license plate that was reported stolen from the City of Hilliard.
A deputy was dispatched to the area of Ford Reed Road and Snyder Road to investigate damage to farm fields caused by off-road vehicles at 10:39 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to Paver Barnes Road north of Westlake Lee Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2009 Subaru Forester that struck a deer at 8:16 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to Hamilton Road near Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2006 Ford F-150 that struck a deer at 5:37 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Northwest Parkway to investigate a dispute between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend at 8:27 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District, the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 25000 block of Route 31 for an injury crash involving a 2003 Dodge Ram that drove off the road, struck a guardrail and then drove into a field at 11:37 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then fled the scene and was later located at a residence in the 16000 block of Martin Welch Road. After further investigation, the driver, David P. Winkle, 62, of Marysville was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to Memorial Hospital.
