According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of sexual battery involving a juvenile victim at an unknown location at 2:40 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 1300 block of Fox Run Drive at 5:15 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Milagros D. Potteiger, 60, of Caddie Drive and Gloria M. Galloway, 62, of New Albany that occurred on Delaware Avenue at Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 11:37 a.m. Friday. Reports indicate Potteiger was traveling westbound on Delaware Avenue and approached a red light at the intersection with Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard. Galloway was behind Potteiger at the red light when her foot allegedly slipped off the brake causing her vehicle to strike the rear of Potteiger’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Galloway was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver driver and Christina Lynn Thomas, 53, of Nutmeg Drive that occurred on West Fifth Street at 9:03 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the unknown driver backed their vehicle into Thomas’ vehicle, then fled the scene.
Andrew Michael Bickford, 35, of Rainbow Drive was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving under OVI suspension and open container in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 2:53 p.m. Saturday. The citation stemmed from a July 22 incident in which MPD responded to an impaired driver and found Budweiser cans in the vehicle.
Barbann Blackburn, 41, of North Lewisburg was cited for theft (shoplifting) in the 1500 block of West Fifth Street at 1:52 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which MPD was dispatched to Kroger for a theft.
Police responded to a report of using weapons while intoxicated, open liquor container and having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence in the 900 block of Kenmore Crossing at 1:05 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a male was found to be intoxicated while in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle.
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 1500 block of London Avenue at 1:58 a.m. Saturday. The reporting person advised she was receiving unwanted text messages from her ex.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 200 block of Scott Farms Boulevard at 2:09 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate two juveniles were located out past curfew.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging/endangering in the 100 block of South Plum Street at 3:11 a.m. Saturday. The reporting person advised someone shattered his truck window.
Police responded to a report of an individual having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence in the 16000 block of Allenby Drive at 7:04 p.m. Saturday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on East Fifth Street at 1:26 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a vehicle was parked facing east on East Fifth Street and was struck by an unknown vehicle, which knocked off the driver’s side mirror of the vehicle.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving William Kuhn, 59, of Cardington and James Stultz, 54, of Toledo that occurred on U.S. 33 at 1:12 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Kuhn struck the rear of Stultz’s vehicle on the off-ramp from U.S. 33 to Delaware Avenue. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Kuhn was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to a report of juvenile offenses in the 2100 block of Creekview Drive at 2:36 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a female juvenile was located and cited for a curfew violation and for obstructing justice.
