According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Lucas Eugene McCarty, 33, of Hillcrest Drive was cited for felonious assault in the 1000 block of Creekview Drive at 11:04 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in the 600 block of London Avenue at 12:26 a.m. Tuesday in which MPD responded to a report of a burglary in progress.
Police conducted a well-being check in the 16000 block of Square Drive at 2:13 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department to take custody of Lacey J. Hartman, 37, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:24 a.m. Tuesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies, the Union County Sheriff and a Richwood Police Department officer were dispatched to the 27000 block of Kinney Pike to search for a person threatening self-harm at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday. The person was located.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Reese K. Chapman, 19, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:59 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy attempted to stop a Dodge Durango for a traffic violation on Route 347 near Patrick Brush Run Road at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday. The driver refused to stop and fled westbound on Route 347 into Logan County. Units from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the Bellefontaine Police Department assisted with the pursuit and eventually got the vehicle stopped in Logan County.
A deputy responded to the U.S. 33 eastbound exit ramp to Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Hyundai Veracruz that was struck from behind by a 2007 International truck at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday. The driver of the International, Christopher L. Warner, 61, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Kimberly Drive for an injury crash involving a 2020 Acura RDX that was struck by a 2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday. The driver of the Toyota, Thomas N. Hipp, 51, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left. One victim was transported to the Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Timothy J. Bellomy, 43, of Columbus for a bond violation at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to the parking lot of a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 that was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 34000 block of Baldwin Road to investigate a domestic dispute between family members at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday.
