According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer responded to Steadfast Performance Training on Gay Street at 9:52 a.m. Jan. 18 for a 911 follow-up. The officer made contact with several people and found no one to be in distress.
An officer responded to an injury crash at South Jefferson Avenue and West Avenue between two vehicles at 7:40 p.m. Jan. 18. Subsequently, Anthony Bogenrife, 18, of West Jefferson, was issued a citation for failure to control. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
An officer found a gate open and a door unsecure at the sewer plant on Central Avenue at 12:19 a.m. Jan. 17. The officer searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door and gate were secured.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an alarm drop on Industrial Parkway at 4:04 a.m. Jan. 17.
Officers were requested to assist the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with attempting to serve an arrest warrant on West South Street at 5:53 p.m. Jan. 17.
An officer responded to Madison Way at 7:02 p.m. Jan. 17 for a report of loose canines running in the area. Upon arrival, the canines were back with the owner and she was given a verbal warning for dogs at large.
An officer responded to Church Street at 9:32 p.m. Jan. 17 for a report of theft of medication. A report was taken.
An officer responded to Gay Street at 3:18 p.m. Jan. 16 for a complaint of identity fraud. The caller advised receiving two bank cards in the mail that she did not open. She advised she is already working with the bank. The officer advised the complainant to make a report with the Federal Trade Commission.
An officer responded to Gay Street at 3:57 p.m. Jan. 16 for a well-being check. The officer made contact and was advised everything was fine.
