An officer found a door unsecured at Brick House Blue on South Chillicothe Street at 4:44 a.m. Oct. 4. The officer searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
An officer responded to Shell/Plain City Village Mart on South Jefferson Avenue at 10:06 a.m. Oct. 4 for a report of a male that was loitering. Contact was made with the subject and he was advised he could only be on the property if he was purchasing items.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 10:13 a.m. Oct. 4 for a loud noise complaint and did not observe any violations. The resident was notified of the complaint.
An officer responded to C & C Repairs on South Jefferson Avenue at 10:35 a.m. Oct. 4 for a 911 follow-up. The officer searched the area but found no one in distress.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 1:16 p.m. Oct. 4 for a possible suicide threat and the individual was transported to the hospital.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 1:26 p.m. Oct. 4 for a trespassing complaint. The officer made contact with the subject and she was warned for trespassing.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office at the Plain City Municipal Building on Village Boulevard with a domestic violence incident at 3:52 p.m. Oct. 4.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a theft investigation at TJ Maxx/Home Goods on Route 161 at 4:58 p.m. Oct. 3.
Officers responded to Central Avenue at 6:25 p.m. Oct. 3 for a report of a dispute between juveniles and adults. All parties were told to separate, remain calm and were warned for disorderly conduct.
Officers observed two juveniles in an area that isn’t open to the public on East South Street at 7:04 pm. Oct. 3. The officers made contact and advised the juveniles that they were trespassing. Officers seized a vape pen from one of the juveniles that continued marijuana. The juveniles were released to their parents and warned for trespassing. One juvenile will be charged with marijuana possession.
Officers responded to Perry Pike at 9:40 p.m. Oct. 3 with Medic 261 for a report of an attempted suicide. Medic 261 transported the individual.
An officer responded to Country Place Lane at 12:55 p.m. Oct. 2 for a non-injury private property crash between two vehicles. Both parties exchanged information.
An officer responded to the North Avenue Apartments on North Avenue at 6:33 p.m. Oct. 2 for a report of a possible stolen bicycle. After further investigation, the bicycle was determined not to have been stolen.
An officer responded to McDonald’s on South Jefferson Avenue at 6:40 a.m. Oct. 1 for a report of a male trying to get into the business. An employee reported the business wasn’t open. The officer made contact with the male and advised him the business wasn’t open. The male was warned for disorderly conduct.
An officer found a rear hatch of a vehicle open and no one around on Warrenton Drive at 2:58 a.m. Oct. 1. The officer attempted contact with the owner but was unsuccessful. Nothing appeared disturbed and the hatch was secured.
An officer responded to a suspicious male sitting at occupied campsites at Pastime Park on South Chillicothe Street at 9:21 a.m. Oct. 1. After further investigation, the male was given a warning for disorderly conduct and trespassed from Pastime Park.
An officer observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road on U.S. 42 at 10:02 p.m. Sept. 20. The officer made contact and was advised everything was fine.
An officer responded to Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 5:26 p.m. Sept. 30 for a report of a suspicious male going from campsite to campsite. The male was located and warned for trespassing. The male left the area.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 1:02 p.m. Sept. 30 for a report of possible vandalism. An investigation is ongoing.
Officers responded to a non-injury crash between two vehicles on Plain City-Georgesville Road at Converse Huff Road at 10:01 a.m. Sept. 30. Subsequently, Jacqueline Dugan, 28, of South Charleston was issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
An officer found a gate unsecure at the water treatment plant on Jackson Street at 1:48 a.m. Sept. 29. The officer searched the area and found nothing out of the ordinary. The gate was secured and the Public Works Department was notified.
An officer responded to East First Avenue at 8:44 p.m. Sept. 29 for a report of fireworks being set off. The officer canvassed the area but did not observe any fireworks.
An officer responded to a non-injury crash between two vehicles on South Jefferson Avenue. Subsequently, Maria Deerwester, 23, of Plain City was issued a citation for failure to yield while turning left.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a follow-up on North Chillicothe Street at 6:37 p.m. Sept. 29.
Officers responded to North Avenue at 10:21 p.m. Sept. 28 for a neighbor dispute and advised all parties to remain civil.
An officer took possession of a found wallet on U.S. 42 at 4:04 p.m. Sept. 28. The officer made contact with the owner and the wallet was returned.
An officer responded to an injury crash between two vehicles on Wellesley Way at 3:06 p.m. Sept. 28. Subsequently, Usha Bhatnagar, 65, of Plain City was issued a citation for starting and backing. One person was transported by Medic 261 to the hospital.
An officer responded to Plain City Elementary School on South Chillicothe Street at 12:25 p.m. Sept. 28 for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The officer made contact with the driver and was advised he was an employee.

An officer took possession of a found credit card at Shell/Plain City Village Mart at South Jefferson Avenue at 6:57 a.m. Sept. 26. It will be returned to the owner.
Officer assisted the Dublin Police Department with translation during a traffic stop on Sawmill Road at 2:02 a.m. Sept. 26.
An officer responded to West Main Street at 3:10 p.m. Sept. 26 for a 911 follow-up. The officer made contact and was advised everything was fine.
Officers responded to Taylor Autobody on West Main Street for a report of a subject getting into cars parked at the listed location at 10:35 p.m. Sept. 25. After further investigation, Alfred Brusaw, 67, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and unauthorized use of property. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Officers responded to West Main Street at 7:24 p.m. Sept. 25 for a report of a known subject who yelled obscenities and squealed his tires at multiple people. Attempts are being made to contact the subject.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 2:57 p.m. Sept. 25 for a report of an unknown subject creating a fake Facebook page. The caller was advised to contact Facebook to report the fake page.
An officer responded to Route 161 at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 25 for an incident that occurred on Route 161 east of the roundabout. A rock flew off a dump truck and struck the caller’s windshield. The company agreed to pay for the damage and the caller requested the incident be documented.
Officers responded to Alderwood Circle at 10:16 a.m. Sept. 25 for an alarm drop. The officer made contact and was advised everything was fine.
An officer responded to Villa Drive at 4:46 p.m. Sept. 24 for a well-being check, made contact and was advised everything was fine.
Officers responded to North Avenue at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 24 forneighbor dispute and advised all parties to remain civil.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 10:58 a.m. Sept. 24 for a complaint of a loose canine. Upon arrival, the owner of the canine was on scene to retrieve the canine. She was given a verbal warning.
An officer responded to a non-injury crash on Gray Street between two vehicles at 9:48 a.m. Sept. 24. Subsequently, Shannon Grim, 47, of Plain City, was issued a citation for starting and backing.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 24 for a loud noise complaint, notified the resident of the complaint and the music was turned down. He was giving a verbal warning.
An officer observed a juvenile out past curfew at Plain City Elementary School on South Chillicothe Street at 11:43 p.m. Sept. 24. Contact was made with the juvenile’s parent and they were warned of possible consequences.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 9:09 p.m. Sept. 23 for a loud noise complaint. The officer notified the resident of the complaint and the TV was turned down.
An officer observed a vehicle parked in a no parking zone on Alderwood Circle South at 4:22 p.m. Sept. 23. The officer made contact with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
An officer assisted Medic 261 with a mental status change on Stenner Court at 3:57 a.m. Sept. 22.
Officers responded to East Main Street at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 22 for a report of a fight between juveniles. An investigation is ongoing.
Officers responded to East South Street at 8:27 a.m. Sept. 22 for a behavioral health issue. The individual was released to a family member.
