An officer was requested to deliver a message on South Chillicothe Street at 9:46 a.m. Oct. 31. However, the officer was unable to make contact.
Officers assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop on New California Drive at 9:40 p.m. Oct. 31.
An officer received a report from the Madison County Department of Job and Family Services regarding possible drug use on Gay Street at 10:20 a.m. Oct. 30. An incident report was taken.
An officer responded to Willow Creek Drive at 1:55 p.m. Oct. 30 for a report of a possible scam. The caller was advised to file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
An officer responded to McDonald’s on South Jefferson Avenue at 4:42 p.m. Oct. 30 for a 911 follow-up. The officer made contact and was advised it was accidental.
Officers responded to Guy Street at 8:32 p.m. Oct. 30 for a report of an unruly juvenile. The officer spoke to the juvenile and she was advised of possible consequences.
Officers responded to North Avenue at 11:09 a.m. Oct. 29 for a report of a neighbor dispute. All parties were advised to stay away from each other.
An officer responded to a vacant building on West Main Street at 3:05 p.m. Oct. 29 for a complaint of a juvenile riding a bicycle recklessly. The juvenile and his parents were talked to about the complaint and the juvenile was advised to be more cautious.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 4:06 p.m. Oct. 29 for a well-being check. The officer made contact and was advised everything was fine.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 7:21 p.m. Oct. 28 for a report of an unruly juvenile. The officer spoke with the juvenile and he was advised he needed to listen to his parents.
Officers responded to Smucker Lane at 10:34 p.m. Oct. 28 for a well-being check. The officers made contact and were advised everything was fine.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with translating during a traffic stop on Route 31 at 1:48 a.m. Oct. 27.
Officers assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with a juvenile complaint at Jonathan Alder High School on U.S. 42 at 11:21 a.m. Oct. 27.
An officer responded to West Main Street at 2:31 p.m. Oct. 27 for a 911 follow-up. The officer made contact and was advised it was accidental.
An officer responded to The Grainery on West Main Street at 8:40 p.m. Oct. 27 for a loud noise complaint. The officer made contact with the business and advised them of the complaint.
Officers took possession of a found canine on East Main Street at 12:28 a.m. Oct. 26. The officers returned the canine to the owner and he was given a warning for dogs at large.
An officer responded to Carriage Drive at 11:23 a.m. Oct. 26 for a report of someone dumping trash in the caller’s yard. After further investigation, the caller reported it was a neighbor and she would talk to them.
An officer received a report of a possible child abuse incident that occurred in a different jurisdiction and forwarded the information to Madison County Sheriff’s Office at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
Officers responded to Madison Way at 10:38 a.m. Oct. 25 for a report of a possible domestic violence incident. Officers searched the area and spoke with several residents and didn’t locate anyone in distress.
Officers attempted a traffic stop on Madison Way at 11:09 a.m. Oct. 25 involving a suspect vehicle from another incident. After a short pursuit, the vehicle stopped and contact was made with the driver. After further investigation, Andrew Gonzalez, 22, of Plain City, was arrested for two confirmed warrants out of Madison County. During a search of the vehicle, marijuana and an open container were found. Subsequently, he was charged with failure to comply, possession of marijuana and open container and he received citations for driving under a non-compliance suspension, driving under a license forfeiture suspension and no operator’s license. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. The vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound Lot.
An officer responded to Willowbend Circle at 2:27 p.m. Oct. 25 for a complaint of a parked vehicle in the same spot for the past several months. Attempts to contact the owner were made but were unsuccessful. Kirby’s towed the vehicle to their impound lot.
Officers observed a vehicle parked after hours at Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 1:24 a.m. Oct. 24. Officers made contact with the occupants and were advised they were camping at the campground.
An officer responded to Gray Street at 11:21 a.m. Oct. 24 for a parking complaint and determined the vehicle was legally parked.
An officer responded to the Clock Tower building on East Main Street at 12:39 p.m. Oct. 24 for non-injury private property crash between two vehicles. Both parties exchanged information.
An officer responded to the U.S. Post Office on Maple Street at 1:32 p.m. Oct. 24 for a non-injury private property crash between two vehicles. Both parties exchanged information.
Officers responded to South Chillicothe Street at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 24 for a report of a possible suicide threat. After further investigation, officers determined the individual was not currently at risk of self-harm.
An officer responded to Church Street at 8:09 p.m. Oct. 24 for a report of an unruly juvenile. The officer spoke to the juvenile and warned of possible consequences.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with translating a call for service on West Fifth Street at 8:53 p.m. Oct. 24.
An officer responded to Freight Line Way at 1:08 a.m. Oct. 23 for a report of loud noises. The officer canvassed the area but did not hear noise violations.
Officers responded to West Avenue at 3:16 p.m. Oct. 23 for a report of a canine bite. After further investigation, Dianna Tridle, 72, of Plain City, was issued a citation for dogs at large. The incident was forwarded to the Madison County Dog Warden.

An officer responded to East Main Street at 10:08 a.m. Oct. 22 for a residential alarm drop and found the residence secure.
An officer responded to Hydro Spray Car Wash on Village Boulevard at 6:14 p.m. Oct. 22 for a report of a theft. A short time later, the item was returned to the owner and she advised officers she did not want to pursue charges.
An officer responded to Mike’s Pit Stop on West Main Street at 10:07 p.m. Oct. 22 for a report of a single vehicle non-injury crash in the area. Subsequently, Lieshia Walker, 32, of Plain City, was cited for failure to control.
An officer responded to Carlisle Gifts on South Jefferson Avenue at 3:51 p.m. Oct. 21 for an alarm drop. The officer made contact with an employee and was advised it was accidental.
Officers responded to Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 6:39 p.m. Oct. 21 for a report of a fight between two juveniles. The juveniles were separated, then they were released to their parents and both warned for unruly citations.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 8:21 p.m. Oct. 21 for a report of possible telecommunications harassment regarding unwanted texts by a known subject. Attempts to contact the subject are being made.
Officers responded to Route 161 for a non-injury single vehicle crash at 4:19 a.m. Oct. 20. Subsequently, Judd McCarty, 46, of Marysville, was cited for reasonable control. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
An officer responded to Maple Street at 10:40 a.m. Oct. 20 for a possible dispute and advised the parties to stay away from each other.
An officer responded to North Avenue at 1:44 p.m. Oct. 20 for a report of a dispute between a son and father. All parties agreed to remain calm.
An officer responded to a non-injury crash at the intersection of West Main Street and South Jefferson Avenue at 3:25 p.m. Oct. 20. Subsequently, Cheryl Snellgrove, 79, of Plain City, was issued a citation for red light violation.
Officers assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with a hit-skip crash on U.S. 42 at 10:35 p.m. Oct. 20.
An officer responded to an alarm drop at ER Autocare on South Jefferson Avenue at 6:03 p.m. Oct. 19. A keyholder was contacted and declined to respond.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 8:14 p.m. Oct. 19 for a report of a possible missing juvenile. A short time later, the juvenile returned home and was given a warning for unruly.
