According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer found a door unsecure at McDonald’s on South Jefferson Avenue at 1:21 a.m. March 13. The officer searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door secured.
A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle for expired registration on U.S. 42 at 4:04 a.m. March 13. During the stop, two occupants who had active warrants were placed under arrest. During a probable cause search, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located. Subsequently, it was learned that Gary Lewis, 39, of Williamsburg had an active warrant and was charged with drug paraphernalia, and Jordan Emmons, 31, of Circleville had an active warrant and was charged with FRA suspension, driving without a license, failure to reinstate, expired tags, drug paraphernalia and possessing a drug abuse instrument, and the third occupant, Crystal Primmer, 46 of Marion was charged with possession of marijuana. Lewis and Emmons were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
An officer responded to West South Street at 2:14 p.m. March 13 for a possible trespassing complaint. The caller advised a known subject was on his property and he wanted him trespassed. The subject was verbally trespassed from the location.
An officer was requested for a civil standby on West South Street at 3:59 p.m. March 13 while belongings were collected.
An officer observed a parked vehicle in a no parking zone on Lantern Lane at 7:28 p.m. March 13. Contact was made with the owner, who moved the vehicle.
An officer responded to Church Street at 10:22 p.m. March 13 for a complaint of an unruly juvenile. After speaking with the juvenile, the officer advised them of possible consequences.

Officers found a door unsecured at C & C Repairs on South Jefferson Avenue at 4:06 a.m. March 12. The officers searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
An officer responded to Plain City Elementary School on South Chillicothe Street at 4:17 p.m. March 12 for a complaint of a subject using a metal detector and digging on the playground. Contact was made with the subject and he was advised he needed permission to be on the property. The subject left without incident.
An officer observed a parked vehicle in a no parking zone on Nighthawk Drive at 4:51 p.m. March 12. Contact was made with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop and a BAC test on Route 736 at 8:30 p.m. March 12.
An officer responded to the Plain City Municipal Building on Village Boulevard at 10:30 p.m. March 12 for a complaint over a social media post by a juvenile. The juvenile and his parents were contacted regarding the post.
An officer observed damage to one of the police cruisers caused by an unknown object at 12:01 a.m. March 11.
An officer found a door unsecured at Outdoor FX on South Jefferson Avenue at 2:22 a.m. March 11. The officer searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an alarm drop on Corporate Boulevard at 4:23 a.m. March 11.
An officer responded to Der Dutchman on South Jefferson Avenue at 2:17 p.m. March 11 for a 911 follow-up. The officer found no one in distress and determined it was accidental.
An officer assisted an individual with moving a disabled vehicle from the Plain City Municipal Building on Village Boulevard at 1:30 p.m. March 10.
An officer responded to Cooper Lane at 2:40 p.m. March 10 for a complaint of a white Chevrolet box truck circling the street. The officer canvassed the area but did not locate the suspect vehicle.
An officer responded to a non-injury crash involving a semi-truck that struck a pole on West Main Street near Maple Street at 4:37 p.m. March 10. Subsequently, Carl Lykins, 39, of Bucyrus was issued a citation for failure to control. Ohio Edison was notified of the damage to the pole.
An officer found a construction trailer unlocked and no one around on Freight Line Way at 5 p.m. March 10. The officer secured the trailer.
An officer assisted an employee, who was locked out, gain access to Richwood Bank on West Main Street at 10:12 p.m. March 10.

An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 8:52 a.m. March 9 for a complaint of a tractor trailer parked on the sidewalk and blocking driveways. Contact was made with the driver, Samuel Craven, 37, of Mount Vernon, who was issued a citation for driving Upon street, curbs and sidewalks. The truck was moved.
An officer was requested to assist the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with a well-being check on Smith Calhoun Road at 1:37 p.m. March 9.
An officer responded to a residential lockout on Church Street at 5:56 p.m. March 9 and assisted the resident with gaining entry to her home.
An officer found a door unsecured at McDonald’s on South Jefferson Avenue at 2:02 a.m. March 8. The officer searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
An officer responded to Gay Street at 6:05 a.m. March 8 for a report of a possible domestic dispute between family members. Both parties agreed to remain calm.
An officer responded to West Main Street at 9:13 a.m. March 8 for a complaint of a dog on the roof of a porch. Contact was made with the resident, who retrieved the dog.
An officer responded to Buckboard Lane at 10:06 a.m. March 8 for a camper in the roadway with no vehicle attached. Contact was made with the owner and the camper was moved.
Officers responded to West South Street at 6:41 p.m. March 8 for a report of a possible domestic dispute between family members. All parties agreed to remain calm.
An officer observed a door open on a parked vehicle on North Avenue at midnight March 7. The officer made contact with the owner, who advised it was left open by mistake.
An officer observed a garage door open on Fanshell Drive at 1:14 a.m. March 7. Contact was made with the resident, who advised it was left open by mistake.
An officer responded to Villa Drive at 7:35 a.m. March 7 for a report of possible fraud. The caller reported he hired a company to manage a timeshare and paid a deposit. The company located in Florida is asking for more money. The caller reported he has filed reports with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Florida’s Attorney General’s Office. The officer advised this is a civil matter and he would document the report.
Officers assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a possible domestic violence incident on U.S. 42 at 1:31 p.m. March 7.
An officer responded to Jackson Boulevard at 8:19 p.m. March 7 for a suspicious parked vehicle. The officer made contact with the driver and confirmed he was just leaving a nearby residence.
