An officer responded to Madison Way at 2:02 p.m. April 9 for a loose dog. The officer made contact with the owner who retrieved the dog and was warned for dogs at large.
An officer responded to Fanshell Drive at 5:04 p.m. April 9 for a driving complaint. The caller provided a description of the vehicle and a license plate number. Attempts are being made to contact the driver.
An officer found a door unsecured at Artistry Beauty on West Main Street at 4:18 a.m. April 8. The officer searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door secured.
An officer observed three juveniles out past curfew on Warrenton Drive at 11:51 p.m. April 8. The juveniles were released to an adult and warned of possible consequences.
An officer responded to East Bigelow Avenue at 9:47 p.m. April 8 for a report of a theft. An investigation is ongoing.
An officer responded to Lantern Lane at 8:16 p.m. April 8 for a report of a non-injury private property crash. After further investigation, it was determined it happened in another jurisdiction.
An officer responded to Noteman Road at 3:44 p.m. April 8 for a noise complaint. The officer notified the residents of the violation and the music was turned down.

Officers responded to Carlisle Gifts on South Jefferson Avenue at 9:45 a.m. April 8 for an alarm drop. The officers made contact with an employee and were advised it was accidental.
Officers observed a van in a construction area on Abby Drive at 12:05 a.m. April 7. The officers made contact with the driver, who advised he was a contractor doing work.
An officer responded to Converse Avenue at 10:20 p.m. April 7 for a possible criminal damaging complaint. An investigation is ongoing.
Officers assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop and with a K9 assist on U.S. 42 at 9:04 p.m. April 7. K9 Andor completed an open air sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive alert for narcotics.
An officer responded to Converse Avenue at 6:15 p.m. April 7 for a neighbor complaint. After further investigation, the officer determined no laws were broken.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 6:08 p.m. April 7 for a parking complaint. The officer made contact with the vehicle owner and advised them of the violation. The vehicle was moved without incident.
An officer responded to the intersection of West Avenue and Maple Street regarding a cable wire in the roadway at 5:24 p.m. April 7. The cable wire was removed from the roadway and Spectrum was contacted.
An officer responded to Weathervane Way at 11:36 p.m. April 7 for a noise complaint. The officer notified the residents of the violation and the music was turned down.
Officer responded to Mike’s Pit Stop on West Main Street at midnight April 6 for a possible dispute between an employee and a customer. After further investigation, the customer was warned for disorderly conduct.
