According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer responded to Coachman Drive at 11:58 a.m. June 3 for a 911 follow-up. The officer made contact and was advised it was accidental.
Officers responded to Madison Avenue at 4:04 p.m. June 3 for a possible behavioral health issue. After speaking with the individual, officers felt he was not a threat to himself or others.
An officer responded to The Grainery on West Main Street at 9:15 p.m. June 3 for a report of theft of a promotional sign by an unknown person. An officer canvassed the area for possible camera footage but was unable to find any.
An officer assisted the Union County Sheriff’s Office with a BAC test at the Plain City Municipal Building on Village Boulevard at 10:33 p.m. June 3.
An officer responded to South Chillicothe Street at 5:03 a.m. June 2 for a 911 unknown. The officer searched the area and found nothing out of the ordinary.
An officer responded to Carriage Drive at 3:55 p.m. June 2 for a report of a possible crash. After further investigation, officers learned two vehicles were parked bumper to bumper and there was no damage to either vehicle.
A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle with expired registration on West Main Street at 9:21 p.m. June 2. Upon approach, the officer observed an open beer bottle in the vehicle. After further investigation, the driver of the vehicle Josue Hernandez, 33, of Plain City was issued citations for no valid operator’s license and non-compliance suspension and was given a warning for open container. The vehicle owner, Roberto Flores, 49, of Plain City, was issued a citation for wrongful entrustment. The vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound Lot.
Officers found a door open at a vacant building on West Main Street at 1:39 a.m. June 1. Officers searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door secured.

An officer responded to Civista Bank on South Jefferson Avenue at 10:08 p.m. June 1 for a report of two parked vehicles with the headlights on at the listed location after hours. The officer canvassed the area but was unable to locate the vehicles.
An officer took possession of a found credit card at Shell/Plain City Village Mart on South Jefferson Avenue at 6:57 a.m. May 31. The officer made contact with the owner and was advised to destroy the card.
An officer responded to West Main Street at 10:45 a.m. May 31 for a non-injury crash between two vehicles on West Main Street and Route 161. Subsequently, a juvenile was cited for failure to yield when turning left and juvenile traffic offender.
An officer responded to Wellsley Way at 4:20 p.m. May 31 for a residential lockout and assisted the resident with gaining entry to her home.
An officer responded to West Avenue at 4:29 p.m. May 31 for a complaint of possible damage to a drainage tile and was advised to contact the Public Works Department.

An officer took possession of a found wallet at Pastime Park on North Chillicothe Street at 9:26 p.m. May 30 and it was returned to the owner.

An officer responded to Lee’s Sports and Spirits on West Bigelow Avenue at 2:20 a.m. May 20 for a report of a dispute between two patrons. The caller advised he did not want the other patron contacted but wanted the incident documented.

An officer responded to Country Place Lane at 7:52 p.m. May 18 for a theft complaint. After further investigation, officers learned a scam email was received posing as a business and the caller gave them personal information. The caller was advised to contact the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. The incident was documented.
