According to Plain City Police Department reports:
Officers found a door at Buckeye Brass and Winds on North Chillicothe Street unsecured after hours at 12:15 a.m. July 21. The building was searched and nothing was out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
Officers responded to a possible domestic dispute between family members on Dogwood Court at 10:01 a.m. July 21. The parties advised it was only verbal and they would remain calm. After determining everything to be fine, officers returned to patrol.
Officers arrested Adam Heineman, 32, and Christina Heineman, 41, both of Marysville, on confirmed warrants out of Marysville on U.S. 42 at 2:01 p.m. July 21. The parties were released to a Marysville Police officer.
An officer responded on a 911 follow-up at The Grainery on West Main Street at 9:47 p.m. July 21, and was advised it was accidental. After determining everything to be fine, he returned to patrol.
An officer was requested to assist the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with livestock in the roadway at Scheiderer Farms/Trucking on Route 161 at 12:12 a.m. July 20. Once the officer was no longer needed, he returned to patrol.
An officer found a door at Outdoor FX on South Jefferson Avenue unsecured after business hours at 1:14 a.m. July 20. The building was checked and nothing was out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
An officer responded to a 911 follow-up on Murlay Drive at 2:40 p.m. July 20. The officer canvassed the area but was unable to locate anyone and did not observe anything out of the ordinary.
An officer responded to a 911 follow-up on Madison Way at 4:35 p.m. July 20. The officer was advised everything was fine.
An officer responded to Route 161 for a disabled vehicle at 5:07 p.m. July 20. The officer provided traffic control until a tow truck arrived on scene.
An officer responded to an alarm drop at ER Autocare on South Jefferson Avenue at 5:50 p.m. July 20. The officer checked the building and it was secured. A keyholder was contacted, who advised they would be not responding. After determining everything to be fine, the officer returned to patrol.
Officers responded to Grant Avenue at 7:12 p.m. July 20 for a report of attempted suicide. After further investigation, the patient was transported to a medical facility. After determining everything to be O.K., officers returned to patrol.
An officer responded to Beach Street at 12:45 p.m. July 19 for a report of hydraulic fluid from a Rumpke Waste Services truck on the roadway. A company arrived on scene and cleaned up the spill. Rumpke Waste Services and the Public Works Department were notified.
An officer responded to South Jefferson Avenue at 2:24 p.m. July 19 for a non-injury accident in front of Der Dutchman, which occurred when a vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Subsequently, a juvenile was issued citations for failure to yield (from place other than a roadway) and juvenile traffic offender. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Officers observed a parked vehicle with its right turn signal on and no one around, at C & C Repairs on South Jefferson Avenue at 11:40 p.m. July 19. An attempt was made to contact the owner but was unsuccessful. Officers were able to turn the turn signal off. Additional follow-up will be completed.
