According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of drug abuse in the 700 block of South Plum Street at 1:37 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Kit Aurora McClain, 27, of Surrey Lane and Crystal Dawn-Marguerite Vettel, 49, of Fawn Meadow Drive that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 2:03 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate McClain was stopped in traffic, heading westbound on Delaware Avenue when Vettel struck the rear of her vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Vettel was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 200 block of West Seventh Street at 3:50 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 1500 block of West Fifth Street at 4:13 p.m. Thursday.
Ernest Joseph Valz, 57, of Ostrander was cited for public indecency – exposure in the 15700 block of U.S. 36 at 5:16 p.m. Thursday.
Megan M. Luft, 37, of Meadows Drive was cited for theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 7:57 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver that occurred on Chestnut Street at 9:54 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the driver was traveling southbound on Chestnut Street near East Ninth Street when they sideswiped another vehicle, striking the driver’s side mirror.
Police responded to an incident of license forfeiture (child support – driving under suspension) on U.S. 33 at 10:01 a.m. Friday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Delaware Police Department officer to take custody of Shi’Aja D. Craig, 27, of Toledo for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:08 a.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to the 25000 block of Route 31 for an injury crash involving a 2009 Honda Civic that lost control, drove off the road and struck a guardrail at 3:01 a.m. Thursday. The driver, Ann M. Levington, 52, of Mt. Victory was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Heather N. Carpenter, 43, of Marysville for a bond violation at 8:35 a.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Desjohn J. W. Cole, 32, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:01 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Business Way to investigate the theft of checks at 11:22 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 10000 block of Kirby Road to investigate threatening statements that were made on a social media application at 12:12 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the roundabout on Industrial Parkway at Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Volvo XC9 that was struck by a 2022 Hyundai Elantra at 3:09 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Volvo, Nicholas J. Minardo, 56, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
A deputy met with a Richwood Police Department officer to take custody of Justin D. Gray, 34, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:39 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 22000 block of Boord Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 5:16 p.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies responded to Route 4 near Wolford Maskill Road for a property damage crash involving a 2021 Tesla Model Y and a 2003 Ford F-150 that resulted from a road rage incident at 5:35 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 4 to investigate a missing juvenile at 9:28 p.m. Thursday. The juvenile was located.
