Police responded to a report of an individual driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 700 block of Kentucky Circle at 1:06 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 800 block of Hickory Drive at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of lost property in the 1500 block of West Fifth Street at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving James A. Caldwell, 72, of Delaware and Carol J. Owen, 59, of Raymond that occurred on Route 736 at 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Owen stopped at the stop sign and Caldwell approached her from behind and rear-ended her vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Caldwell was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat in the 900 block of Kenmore Crossing at 4:04 a.m. Wednesday.
Michael Daniel Martin, 28, of Columbus was cited for license forfeiture (child support – driving under suspension) and arrested on a warrant service arrest on U.S. 33 at 10:24 a.m. Thursday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a domestic violence incident that occurred at a residence on West Magnetic Street involving a husband and wife at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to the U.S. 33 eastbound exit ramp to Route 161 for a property damage crash involving a 2020 Honda Civic that was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and U.S. 33 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Ford Explorer that was struck by a 2020 International semi at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the Ford, Todd C. Robertson, 48, of Hilliard was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol were sent to the parking lot of a business in the 19000 block of Route 739 for a possible impaired driver at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday. The driver was located.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and U.S. 33 for a property damage crash involving a 2015 Toyota Camry and a 2010 Peterbilt semi at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Main Street in Broadway to investigate a dispute between three residents over postal mail at 8:49 p.m. Wednesday.
