According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 11000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a possible injury crash involving a 2020 Western Star semi-truck and trailer that drove off the roadway, lost control and overturned at 6:19 a.m. Thursday. The driver, Johnny L. McQueen, 48, of Cardington was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy responded to U.S. 42 near Ravenhill Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Dodge Ram that was struck from behind a 2006 Saturn Ion at 8:23 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Saturn, Steven C. Short, 32, of Delaware was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy went to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Nicholas W. Bosier, 45, of Wilmington for a bond violation at 9:57 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Union County Common Pleas Court where he was released on bond.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 10000 block of Parks Court for a report of check fraud at 1:09 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 for the theft of a wallet at 3:48 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 7200 block of Lilac Hill Drive to investigate criminal mischief involving toilet paper and ketchup at 2:02 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a property in the 12000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a trespassing complaint at 10:52 a.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Southard Road to check an abandoned flatbed trailer that was left in a yard with a flat tire at 11:22 a.m. Friday. After further investigation, it was determined that the trailer, rubber stall mats on the trailer and the license plate from the trailer were all stolen from several different businesses in Norwalk.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 26000 block of Fawley Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:40 a.m. Friday.
A Union County deputy met with a Hardin County deputy to take custody of Kenneth A. Watts, 38, of Ada for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:02 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
As a result of a traffic stop with a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr on U.S. 42 near Jerome Road, a deputy charged the driver, Marc C. Anderson, 43, of Radnor with having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle at 3:56 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 28000 block of Storms Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 8:52 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Magnetic Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 10:28 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department were sent to a home in the 14000 block of U.S. 36 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 12:39 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 11000 block of Cedar Crest Drive for a person found deceased in the home at 7:08 p.m. Saturday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
A deputy was dispatched to Reed Street in Milford Center to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Ford Ranger that drove off the road, struck a mailbox and then left the scene at 11:18 a.m. Saturday. The driver, Herman J. Nienhaus, 57, of Marysville was later located and issued a traffic citation for leaving the scene of an accident.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department were sent to a correctional facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 1:16 p.m. Saturday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
While on patrol, a deputy found a license plate on the side of the road in the 12000 block of Watkins Road at 3:32 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 26000 block of Fawley Road to investigate a harassment complaint involving unwanted messages sent via a social media website at 5:28 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 15000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Honda Accord that struck a deer at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper to take custody of Steven E. Angel, 48, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:46 p.m. Saturday. He was transported to Memorial Hospital and released after posting a bond.
Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department and the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 8000 block of Route 736 for a property damage crash involving a 2008 Honda Accord that drove off the road, struck a driveway and then rolled over at 7:55 a.m. Sunday. The driver, Hailey I. K. Lowe, 18, of Marysville was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was dispatched to Allen Center Road, west of Holycross Epps Road, to investigate damage to a 2002 John Deere Excavator at 11:48 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Department officer with a property damage crash that occurred in an alley between East Ottawa Street and East Blagrove Street in Richwood at 1:16 a.m. Monday.
A deputy and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to the 21000 block of Route 161 for an injury crash involving a 2006 Hyundai Sonata that lost control, drove off the road and then rolled over at 6:03 a.m. Monday. The driver, Logan G. Pelfrey, 22, of Urbana was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence under construction in the 22000 block of Connor Road to investigate the theft of multiple power tools from a vehicle at 10:08 a.m. Monday.
Deputies went to a residence in the 11000 block of Route 47 to arrest Trent I. Eickemeyer, 27, of Richwood for outstanding arrest warrants at 3:27 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 15000 block of Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Ford Fusion that struck a deer at 5:53 p.m. Monday.
Deputies responded to Route 161 near U.S. 33 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Honda Fit and a 2006 Lexus RX330 at 8:22 p.m. Monday.
