According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the parking lot of a business in the 8300 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2003 Ford F-150 that backed into a 2019 Porsche Cayenne at 9:19 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Industrial Parkway for an injury crash involving a 2011 Honda Pilot and a 2020 Mack cement truck at 9:48 a.m. Friday. One victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy met with resident from the 27000 block of Kinney Pike to investigate a bad check that was received at 10:46 a.m. Friday.
A deputy took possession of a license plate that was found near the intersection of Kinney Pike and Graham Jones Road at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The license plate was returned to the owner.
A deputy was sent to a manufacturing facility in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway for an intoxicated person at 5:08 p.m. Friday.
A Union County deputy met with a Hardin County deputy to take custody of Brianna M. Hinchley, 25, of Kenton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:12 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 17000 block of Route 161 for an unruly juvenile at 5:17 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the 14000 block of U.S. 36 for a property damage crash involving a 2007 Kenworth semi that drove off the road, struck a mailbox and a fence and then came to a stop in a farm pasture at 5:26 p.m. Friday. The driver, Kulwinder Deol, 40, of Ontario, Canada was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies and units from the Richwood Police Department, the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Northwestern Fire District responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Route 37 for an injury crash involving a 2017 Ford Focus that was struck by a 1999 Dodge Caravan at 5:59 p.m. Friday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Dodge, Ethan J. Spain, 23, of Richwood was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Brock Road to check a 2017 Honda Accord that was parked off the road and partially in a ditch at 8:23 p.m. Friday. As a result of the investigation, the driver, Vishal Chopra, 45, of Plain City was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Plain City Police Department.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash that occurred in the 31000 block of Route 31 involving a 2015 Toyota Avalon that struck a deer at 8:17 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a school sporting event in the 12000 block of Route 736 for a disorderly parent at 11:56 a.m. Saturday. The parent left the facility.
A deputy was dispatched to the area of Kaiser Road and Leeper Perkins Road to investigate a littering complaint at 2:18 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7200 block of Route 161 to take possession of a firearm that was found in a bathroom at 7:32 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy responded to the 17000 block of Kandel Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Kia Rondo that lost control, drove off the road and into a ditch at 8:31 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 16000 block of Wheeler Green Road for an injury crash involving a 2008 Acura TL that drove off the road and struck a tree at 3:02 a.m. Sunday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33, west of Route 245, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Ford F-150 that drove off the road, struck a fence and came to rest in a farm field at 4:57 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop road to investigate a harassment complaint involving text messages and a social media website at 9:04 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 22000 block of Delaware County Line Road to investigate criminal mischief involving a mailbox at 4:49 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Gandy Eddy Road for a domestic dispute between a male and two females at 7:42 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
