According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of drug abuse (marijuana) and illegal use or possession of marijuana in the 800 block of North Maple Street at 8:48 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hit-skip driver and a juvenile driver that occurred on Meadows Drive at 7:39 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the juvenile driver was traveling northbound when their vehicle was struck by another driver traveling southbound. The juvenile “attempted an evasive maneuver to avoid a head-on collision. In doing so, (the driver) struck a curb and hit a light pole.” The other driver left the scene of the crash without exchanging information.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Columbus Avenue at 4:10 p.m. Thursday.
Ashlee Rashelle Tramontana, 40, of East Fourth Street was cited for theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 8:36 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident at Walmart in which Tramontana allegedly concealed multiple items under her jacket and passed the point of sale with those items in her possession.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 800 block of Watermill Place at 8:29 p.m. Thursday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a domestic dispute between a mother and daughter that occurred at a residence in the 21000 block of Treaty Line Road at 12:05 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 12:07 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 161 and Bates Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Honda CR-V that drove off the road and struck a utility pole guide wire at 3:13 a.m. Thursday. The driver, Robinah S. Lincoln, 40, of Milford Center was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Ravenhill Parkway and Jerome Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Subaru Forester that was struck from behind by a 2023 BMW 530E at 7:44 a.m. Thursday. The juvenile driver of the BMW was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Mandy M. Halterman, 47, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:58 a.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Parole Office in the 18000 block of Route 4 to take custody of Travis W. Rowe, 49, of Kenton for a bond violation at 11:20 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a correctional facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 to investigate the assault of a staff member at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were sent to a storage facility in the 8300 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate two storage units that were broken into a 6:32 p.m. Thursday.
