A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 8:23 a.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Jeanne M. Kemp, 43, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:16 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 10000 block of Ivy Chase to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent travel website at 1:41 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Northwestern Fire District responded to the intersection of Osborne Road and Richwood Miller Road for an injury crash involving a 2019 Jeep Compass that was struck by a 2005 Toyota Sienna at 5:56 p.m. Friday. One victim was transported to the Marion General Hospital. The driver of the Toyota, Maria A. Maguana Uzhca, 39, of Columbus was issued traffic citations for driving without a license and failure to obey a traffic control device.
A deputy responded to the 14000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Ford F-150 that struck a deer at 7:09 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 11:30 p.m. Friday.
A deputy and a wildlife officer from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources were sent to a property in the 17000 block of Raymond Road to investigate a trespassing complaint involving hunters at 9:16 a.m. Saturday. The wildlife officer handled the investigation.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Maple Ridge Road to investigate identity theft involving fraudulently obtained credit cards at 10:18 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to the parking lot of a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2023 Rivian R1S that struck a 2021 GMC Yukon and a 2012 Subaru Legacy at 11:43 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 10000 block of Summersweet Way for a person found deceased by family members at 3:08 p.m. Saturday. The Union County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
Deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union Fire District and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the 20000 block of Route 739 for an injury crash involving a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic that drove off the road, struck a fence and a tree and then came to rest in a yard at 6:29 a.m. Sunday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver, Sonia D. Renteria, 33, of Marion was issued traffic citations for failure to control and driving a vehicle without a driver’s license.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District and the Marysville Fire Department responded to Route 347 east of Route 37 for a property damage crash involving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that drove off the road, through a ditch and into a field at 4:40 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies responded to the 11000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Ford Taurus that struck a deer at 4:55 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy and units from the Marysville Fire Department, Jerome Township Fire Department, Delaware County EMS and the Scioto Township Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 at 7:46 p.m. Sunday.
