According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Damon D. Knox, 19, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:11 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 5:15 a.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 10000 block of Fulton Creek Road to investigate a mental health concern at 10:02 a.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 7000 block of Nature Way for a property damage crash involving a 2024 Honda Accord that drove off the road and struck a building at 1:50 p.m. Friday. The driver, Christopher D. Yep, 49, of Dublin fled the scene but was later located. He was issued traffic citations for failure to control and leaving the scene of an accident.
A deputy met with a resident from the 15000 block of State Road to investigate the theft of money from a bank account involving a payment app at 2:34 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Watkins Road to investigate the theft of a 2022 Yamaha all-terrain vehicle at 2:37 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District and the Northwestern Fire District responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Neel Road for an injury crash involving a 2022 Hyundai Accent that struck the back of a 2018 Jeep Compass at 5:44 p.m. Friday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital and a second victim was transported to Marion General Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 7000 block of Sunlight Loop to investigate fraudulent bank account charges at 6:20 p.m. Friday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Department officer to take custody of Jonathan M. Kelsey, 65, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:36 p.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 12000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate unwanted telephone calls at 7:19 p.m. Friday.
As a result of a traffic stop at the U.S. 33 rest area, a deputy arrested Jazslyn B. Smith, 28, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant from Oakland County in Michigan at 11:06 p.m. Friday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Juanita M. Hanson, 40, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:26 a.m. Saturday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Marysville Fire Department responded to the 13000 block of Watkins Road for a property damage crash involving a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse that drove off the road and into a yard at 1:50 a.m. Saturday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 11:27 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Steven L. Kloh, 46, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:50 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a home in the 21000 block of Raymond Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Jeffrey R. O’Hara, 48, of Zanesfield for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:57 a.m. Sunday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 8:19 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District were sent to a residence in the 21000 block of Raymond Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 4:23 p.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2017 Ford Explorer that struck a deer on Route 4 south of Route 37 at 7:16 p.m. Sunday.
