Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1200 block of West Fifth Street at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of criminal trespassing in the 16700 block of Square Drive at 11:23 a.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of littering in the 700 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Douglas Woodrow Thompson, 62, of White Oak Court was cited for theft (without consent) in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 8:52 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of William A. Humes Jr., 50, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:22 a.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Miller Road for a report of a runaway juvenile at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to Route 161 near Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2023 Toyota GR86 that lost control, drove off the roadway and struck a tree at 10:31 a.m. Tuesday. The driver, Srikanth Regati, 40, of Clarksburg, Maryland was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy responded to the 10000 block of Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Peterbilt semi-truck and trailer that drove off into a farm field while attempting to turn around at 11:08 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Azalea Way for a report of lost travel documents at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Joint Fire District were sent to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a possible overdose at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday. One person was taken to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department were dispatched to Lincoln Road near Middleburg Plain City Road for a report of a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday. The person was located and transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies went to a residence in the 12000 block of Route 347 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Delaware City Police Department officer to take custody of Morgan D. Rutter, 27, of Sunbury for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:37 p.m. Tuesday. She was transported to Memorial Hospital due to prior medical conditions and was released on her own recognizance.
