According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police conducted a well-being check in the 200 block of Greenwood Boulevard at 7:40 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Shane Michael Long, 48, of West Liberty and David Alexander Neer, 42, of West Liberty that occurred on Beecher Gamble Road at 12:36 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Long was backing up in a parking lot and struck Neer’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. No citations are listed in the incident report.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 1000 block of Van Kirk Drive at 2:35 p.m. Thursday.
Akeisheunte Renee Robinson, 27, of Cypress Drive was cited for permitting operation without a valid license in the 17000 block of Route 31 at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy investigated a break-in at a barn in the 22000 block of Route 31 at 3:52 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to Route 4, north of Milford Avenue, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Ford Edge that struck a deer at 7:31 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a property on Route 47 near Hoover Moffitt Road to investigate damage to two solar panels at 8:14 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department were sent to a residence in the 9200 block of Wells Road for a dog that had bitten a delivery driver at 11:02 a.m. Thursday. The victim was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on May Street in Magnetic Springs for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 12:03 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Wells Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Ford F-150 that struck a 2015 Kenworth semi and then left the scene at 1:01 p.m. Thursday. The Ford was later located and the driver, Ricardo Garduno-Contreras, 43, of Columbus was issued traffic citations for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident.
Deputies investigated a property damage crash that occurred as a result of a road rage incident on Kinney Pike near Graham Jones road at 1:16 p.m. Thursday. The crash involving a 2018 Honda Civic and a 2022 Hyundai Venue and is still under investigation.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 31 and Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2022 Toyota Tundra that was struck by a 2017
Chevrolet Equinox at 4:01 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Chevrolet, Zachary W. Malloy, 22, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Water Street in Essex to investigate a possible burglary at 4:14 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Corporate Boulevard to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2022 Toyota 4-Runner that backed into a 2022 Hyundai Sonata at 5:29 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Shawna M. Eskelson, 45, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:42 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Fulton Creek Road to investigate a dispute over the repair of a vehicle at 6:25 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Leanthony M. Robertson, 28, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:38 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to Industrial Parkway, east of Hildebrand Drive, for a property damage crash involving a 2023 Tesla Model 3 that struck a deer at 8:54 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy and a Richwood Police Department officer went to a residence on East Bomford Street in Richwood to arrest Jonathan R. Wurtsbaugh, 41, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:02 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
