According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A Union County deputy met with a Delaware County deputy to take custody of Paul L. Pearsell, 50, of Ashley for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:12 a.m. Friday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department were sent to a business in the 8500 block of Warner Road to investigate a bomb threat at 9:02 a.m. Friday. The business was searched.
A deputy met with a Hilliard Police Department officer to take custody of Jack H. Fox, 54, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:06 a.m. Friday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Shawn T. Price, 25, of London for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:56 a.m. Friday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to the intersection of Route 31 and Route 347 to investigate a road rage incident at 3:09 p.m. Friday.
Deputies responded to U.S. 33, west of Route 161, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 that struck a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe at 3:49 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Dodge, Jordan R. Stultz, 32, of Westerville was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
While investigating a driving complaint, a deputy stopped the suspect vehicle on Mill Street in Milford Center at 5:09 a.m. Friday. As a result of the investigation, Jamie B. Voiles, 55, of Marysville was arrested of having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence. The arrestee was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department in searching for a person threatening self-harm in the area of South Walnut Street and Eleventh Street at 10:04 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7400 block of Route 161 to resolve a dispute between an employee and several customers at 10:08 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the 28000 block of McMillen Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a motorcycle that struck a deer at 11:34 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a suspicious vehicle on the property at 1:35 a.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, Tyler D. McGinnis, 38, of Dublin was arrested for having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence. The arrestee was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Billy J. Littler, 27, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:46 a.m. Saturday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the parking lot of a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 for a person making threats with a firearm at 10:10 p.m. Saturday. As a result of the investigation, Brandon C. Lanoy, 32, of Columbus was arrested for aggravated menacing. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the intersection of Route 4 and Route 347 for an injury crash involving a 2013 Ford C-Max, a 2013 Honda Civic and a 2022 Hyundai Elantra at 3:36 p.m. Sunday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Ford, Iva P. Emswiler, 19, of Mount Jackson, Virginia was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District responded to a residence in the 24000 block of Rapp Dean Road for an accidental shooting at 3:59 p.m. Sunday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of U.S. 36 for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
