Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of Allenby Drive at 2:27 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 1500 block of Claudia Lane at 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 500 block of Glen Oaks Drive at 8:37 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Shelby Dee Johnson, 31, of Village Drive and Maxwell H. Morrison, 37, of Morning Song Road that occurred on Main Street at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Morrison slowed down and stopped to allow the vehicle in front of him to parallel park along the side of the road. Johnson came from behind and rear-ended Morrison’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Johnson was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Police conducted a death investigation in the 300 block of Hickory Drive at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of an assault in the 200 block of Grove Street at 5:18 p.m. Wednesday.
Penny R. Brooks, 59, of Plain City was cited for theft (shoplifting) in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 6:47 p.m. Wednesday.

A deputy responded to the roundabout on Route 161 at Cosgray Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2023 Ram Pro-Master and a 1997 Mazda MX-5 at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 26000 block of Route 739 to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulently created website and social media account at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Heather N. Carpenter, 43, of Marysville for a bond violation at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Smart Cole Road to investigate a computer scam at 4:01 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 13000 block of Pleasant Ridge Drive to investigate damage to a yard at 9:42 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies investigated a dog bite that occurred in a vehicle in the 15000 block of U.S. 36 at 11:03 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Justin B. Compton, 24, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a menacing complaint that occurred at a property in the 27000 block of Route 4 at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 to investigate a protection order violation at 11:16 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a correctional facility in the 18000 block of Route 4 for a resident who attempted suicide at 12:19 p.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Ravenhill Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Ford F-150 and a 2020 Ford Fusion at 12:52 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Watkins Road to investigate damage to the residence that was caused by a bullet at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Scioto County Jail to take custody of Jamie B. Evans, 73, of Portsmouth for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:34 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Bellepoint Road for a missing juvenile at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday. The juvenile was located.
Deputies investigated the possible theft of a 2023 Great Dane semi-trailer from the 8400 block of Rausch Drive at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday. The trailer was located.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper to take custody of Julie M. Preston, 27, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:39 p.m. Wednesday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
