Oziyous Adams, 21, of Delaware was arrested about a12:01 a.m., Friday, charged with one count each of receiving stolen property and failure to comply following an incident on U.S. 33.
Kori Eleane Nicole Beltz, 27, was issued a citation for a financial responsibility act/non compliance suspension and expired plates about 5:35 p.m., Friday on Delaware Avenue at Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
Police continue to investigate an alleged burglary and criminal damaging complaint that occurred about 4:30 a.m., Friday in the 100 block of Sumac Drive.
Police were called to the a1200 block of Forrest Edge Drive at about 6:44 a.m. Friday, to investigate the death of an 84-year-old woman.
About 8:56 a.m. Friday, police were called to the 700 block of Meadows Drive on a call of suspicious conditions. The incident was closed.
A 14-year-old girl reported being harassed by someone using an electronic device about 10:01 a.m., Friday.
Police are investigating a series of alleged shoplifting incidents in the 15700 block of U.S. 36. Officials said the alleged thefts occurred sometime after Jan. 20.
Police were called to a parking lot in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard about 2:49 p.m., Friday, on a theft report.
Kristen Bergman, 32, of Columbus was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 33, just west of U.S. 36 at about 5:51 p.m., Friday. According to the crash report, Bergman was driving her 2012 Honda Accord on U.S. 33. She began to slow because traffic in front of her had stopped. As she braked, her vehicle began to slide partially into another lane. John Thompson was driving a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer behind her and as she slid, he slid as well, hitting the rear of Accord.
Gary Given, 60, of 1450 Hickory Gate Dr., was charged with failure to yield the right of way when turning following a crash at about 6:04 p.m., Friday. According to the crash report, Benjamin Grant was driving his 2008 Pontiac G5 south on Columbus Avenue approaching Dunham Street. Given was traveling north on Columbus Avenue in a 2018 Ford Explorer and attempted to turn onto Dunham Street. Given failed to yield when making the turn and hit Grants car. Given was taken to Memorial Hospital. Both vehicles were towed.
About 6:39 p.m., Friday, Jose Diaz was driving a 2022 Toyota 4Runner, traveling south on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard, approaching Kenmore Crossing. Alyssa Brown was driving a 2017 Jeep Compass, traveling west on Kenmore Crossing, approaching Coleman’s Crossing. Brown attempted to make a right turn after stopping at the stop sign, but was unable to stop due to ice. Brown’s car crossed the centerline and hit Diaz. There were no citations listed, injuries or tows out of the crash.
Robert Kroshefsky was uninjured after he los control of his 2014 Toyota Hatchback and hit a guardrail on North Main Street at U.S. 33 on Friday at 8:45 p.m.
Victor Fabian Rios Rengel, 22, of Dublin, was cited for failure to control after he lost control of his vehicle about 9:40 p.m., Friday and slid into a pond. Rengel was driving a 2022 Chevy Camero northwest on Industrial Parkway near Suntra Way. Rengel lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and into a pond. The Jerome Township Fire Department treated him for injuries on scene. Hogan’s Tire and Service towed the vehicle.
Macy Lennis Brown, 33, of Bellefontaine, was issued a summons for theft about 10:54 p.m. Saturday following an incident at Wal-Mart on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard. Brown allegedly stole more than $54 worth of merchandise from the store.
Courtney Renee Marcum, 30, of Liberty Center was arrested about 4:59 p.m., Sunday, at the intersection of Fifth and Chestnut streets on a felony warrant.
Breanna Akers, 22, of Delaware, and Julia Desiree Rivers, 32, of Marion, were each charged with theft about 4:58 p.m., Sunday, at Wal-Mart on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
Brittany R. Ferguson, 39, of 128 S. Main St., Magnetic Springs, was issued a citation for financial responsibility act/non compliance suspension following an incident at 12:11 p.m., Sunday in the 100 block of W. Fourth Street.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Clovernoll Court at about 1:27 p.m., Sunday on a report of disorderly conduct- fighting or threatening. The case was closed according to police reports.
Police were called to the 600 block of Gallop Lane at about 2:12 p.m., Sunday on a report of suspicious conditions. The case was closed according to police reports.
Karmen Kathleen Hakola, 54, of 194 Townsend St., North Lewisburg, was issued a citation about 12:19 a.m., Monday, for theft from Wal-Mart on Coleman’s Crossing.
Police responded to a mental health issue at a home at 11:43 p.m., in the 1400 block of Idlewild Drive.
A resident at one of the hotels on Allenby Drive contacted police at about 9:14 a.m. Monday, to investigate an alleged theft.
