According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of a mental health issue in the 100 block of Elwood Avenue at 7 a.m. Thursday.
Kaylee Nicole Clemans, 19, of West Fifth Street was cited for license forfeiture/child support driving under suspension on West Fifth Street at 7:11 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Amelia Anh Tran, 31, of Grove City and Hillary Ann Hutchinson, 41, of Cedar Street that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 8:39 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate both drivers were traveling eastbound on Delaware Avenue when Hutchinson struck the rear of Tran’s vehicle. Reports indicate Tran did not experience any apparent injuries. Hutchinson experienced possible injuries and was treated by the Marysville Division of Fire. Hutchinson was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. Hutchinson was later cited, at 10:44 a.m. Thursday, for driving under OVI or ALS suspension.
Jimmie R. Slone, 70, of Route 4 was arrested on a warrant service arrest on East Seventh Street at 2:44 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Sandra L. Payne, 78, of Milford Center and Joseph Paul Varadi, 49, of Lakeview that occurred on Collins Avenue at 3:39 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Payne was traveling westbound on Collins Avenue when making a stop at the stop sign. Varadi was trailing behind when he struck the rear of Payne’s vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Varadi was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Police responded to a report of theft of vehicle parts or accessories in the 1200 block of Bay Laurel Drive at 5:28 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 100 block of Grove Court at 7:13 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to assist a medical/EMS assist in the 1700 block of Merriwick Crossing at 7:50 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of criminal trespassing in the 14500 block of Scottslawn Road at 10:58 p.m. Thursday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the Clermont County Jail to take custody of James E. Boyd, 51, of Cincinnati for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:44 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the 8200 block of Industrial Parkway for an injury crash involving a semi and a Jeep Cherokee at 2:35 a.m. Thursday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy was dispatched to the parking lot of a business in the 7400 block of Route 161 to investigate a vehicle break-in where a backpack was stolen at 7:29 a.m. Thursday.
The Union County Dog Warden and the Union County Humane Agent were sent to a property in the 21000 block of Cotton Slash Road for an animal neglect complaint at 11:39 a.m. Thursday. The Union County Humane Society investigated the incident.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Department officer to take custody of Jimmie R. Slone, 70, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:47 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated several attempted fraudulent bank transactions involving a business in the 10000 block of Industrial Parkway at 12:01 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Joshua T. Bryant, 36, of Piketon for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:57 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 7700 block of Mitchell Dewitt Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a United States Postal Service truck that was struck from behind by a 2016 Hyundai Sonata at 3:06 p.m. Thursday. The juvenile driver of the Hyundai was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated a property damage crash involving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado that occurred on U.S. 33 west of Route 161 at 3:17 p.m. Thursday.
