According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Crottinger Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 International Farm Tractor that was struck by a 2018 Toyota Tacoma at 12:02 p.m. Friday. The driver of the Toyota, Paul L. Clements, 76, of Ostrander was issued a traffic citation for driving left of center while overtaking and passing.
A deputy took possession of a cell phone that was found in a vehicle parked at the Union County Courthouse at 3:03 p.m. Friday.
Deputies were sent to a home in the 12000 block of Lavender Drive to investigate the unauthorized use of a 2023 Nissan Altima at 10:08 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to Route 245, west of U.S. 33, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Dodge Caravan that struck a deer at 12:24 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with a resident from the 28000 block of Route 31 to investigate a telecommunications harassment complaint at 6:17 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies responded to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Watkins California Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Honda Civic that struck the back of a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado that was pulling a trailer at 6:29 p.m. Saturday. The driver of the Honda, William H. Nichol, 73, of Winona, Missouri was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies and police officers from the Marysville Police Department went to a resident on Honeysuckle Lane in Marysville to arrest Logan C. Reed, 21, of Magnetic Springs for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:52 p.m. Saturday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Marina C. Bernhard, 29, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:18 p.m. Saturday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to Route 245 near Buck Run Road for a person found lying in the roadway bleeding at 9:34 p.m. Saturday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of State Road to investigate a missing person at 9:50 p.m. Sunday. The person was later located.
Deputies were sent to a residence on Main Street in Broadway to investigate a domestic argument between a mother and son at 2:20 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
A deputy investigated a menacing complaint involving a brother and sister that occurred at a residence on Main Street in Broadway at 6:37 p.m. Sunday.
