According to police reports:
Police were called to a home in the 700 block of South Walnut Street at 9:59 a.m., Wednesday on a theft report. The caller said the theft occurred sometime after March 10. Police report the case as closed.
Police responded to the 15700 block of U.S. 36 at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, on the report of a theft from a rental storage unit. The owner said the theft occurred sometime after 2:30 p.m., March 11. Police report the case as closed.
An individual reported non-criminal property damage at a parking lot in the 500 block of London Avenue at 1:41 p.m., Wednesday
Police were called to a store in the 600 block of Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 4:45 p,m. on a report of shoplifting that had occurred earlier in the day. The case remains under investigation.
Police were called to an apartment in the 900 block of Kenmore Crossing in Marysville at 7:45 p.m., Wednesday, in reference to a dispute. The case is listed as closed.
Jessica Dawn Foley, 36, of 302 S. Court St., was arrested at 3:02 a.m., Thursday at 800 Delaware Ave., on a warrant out of Champaign County.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
At 2:37 a.m., Wednesday, deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a home in the 15000 block of Fish Road for a suicide attempt. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital and a report was taken.
A deputy was sent to the Ross County Jail at 11:07 a.m., Wednesday, to take custody of Joshua R. Loomis, 35, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Loomis to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail at 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, to take custody of Adonis J. Howell, 31, Duan U. Hawthorn, 29, and Bryan M. Wooten, 32, all of Columbus, for outstanding arrest warrants. The arrestees were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to a business on N. Mill Street in Milford Center to investigate a shop lifting incident at 12:02 p.m., Wednesday. A report was taken.
Brian E. Hall, 63, of Athens, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left. At 12:10 p.m., Wednesday, Hall was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of Route 42 and U.S. 33. He allegedly pulled out in front of a 2019 Nissan Versa and was hit. Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the scene. A crash report was taken.
A deputy was sent to a home in the 12000 block of Beecher Gamble Road at 1:32 p.m., Wednesday, to investigate the theft of several horse saddles. Deputies returned at 6:54 to investigate the theft of silver trim from a horse saddle.
A deputy met with a Delaware Police Officer at 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, to take custody of Eric S. Lyons, 46, of Delaware, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Lyons was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
