According to police reports:
At 4:26 p.m., Thursday, police were called to the street in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street on a call of a dispute. The matter remains under investigation.
Police were contacted at 7:19 p.m., Thursday about a dispute that allegedly occurred earlier in the evening at store in the 300 block of Mill Creek Drive. The case was closed.
Police responded to a crash on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard at 5 p.m. Thursday involving a juvenile.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail at 12:51 a.m., Thursday, to take custody of Brooklyn A. Moody, 22, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Moody was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
At 1:09 a.m., Thursday, Union County deputies assisted Madison County Sheriff’s deputies and Plain City police officers with a domestic violence and barricade situation at a home in the 8500 block of Smith Calhoun Road in Madison County.
A deputy responded to the 19000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road at 5:18 a.m., Thursday, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Lexus CT2 that struck a deer. No report was taken.
Gage M. Barton, 31, of Ostrander, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead after a two-car property damage crash at 11:05 a.m., Thursday. Barton was driving a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta at the intersection of Watkins California Road and Route 42 when he crashed into the rear of a 2007 Toyota RAV-4. A crash report was taken.
A deputy was sent to the Trumbull County Jail at 12:27 p.m., Thursday, to take custody of Dejuan M. Hutson, 33, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Hutson was taken to the Tri County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 28000 block of Storms Road at 1:22 p.m., Thursday, for a person experiencing a mental health crisis. No report was taken.
At 4:24 p.m., Thursday, a Union County deputy assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office with a report of suspicious people at a home in the 11000 block of Debolt Road in Madison County.
A deputy investigated a property damage crash involving a 2018 Buick Encore that was hit by a sheet of plywood that came off another vehicle on Route 736 near Hagenderfer Road. A crash report was taken.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 at 6:59 p.m. Thursday, to investigate unattended children left in a parked vehicle. The parent was located and no report was taken.
Dolan C. Mills, 40, of Prospect, was arrested by deputies and officers from the Marysville Police Department at 11:46 p.m., Thursday, at a home on South Walnut Street for an outstanding arrest warrant. The arrestee was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
