According to reports from the Union County Sheriff’s Office:
A deputy responded to the 18000 block of Allen Center Road at 2:25 a.m., Friday, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Honda Accord that drove off the road and into a yard. A crash report was taken.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department were sent to the intersection of Route 4 and Sabine Bigelow Road at 5:11 a.m., to assist a Marysville Police Officer with an uncooperative prisoner.
Christopher L. Wilson, 23, of Marysville, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead. At 5:41 a.m., Friday, Wilson was driving a 2012 Honda Crosstour in the 25000 block of Route 4 when he hit the back of a 2005 Honda Accord. Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to scene. A crash report was taken.
A deputy assisted the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office with a possible injury crash at 7:09 a.m., Friday, near the intersection of Mason Road and East Kingscreek Road in Champaign County.
A deputy was dispatched to a farm in the 18000 block of Route 739 at 10:03 a.m., Friday, to investigate the theft of several lambs. A report was taken.
A deputy was sent to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 at 12:56 p.m., Friday, to take custody of Seth J. Hall, 39, of Marysville, for an outstanding warrant from Logan County. Hall was turned over to a Logan County Deputy.
A deputy was sent to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Darrick C. Hackney, 49, of Columbus, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Hackney was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 8500 block of Rausch Drive at 6:14 p.m., Friday, to resolve a dispute involving damage to a yard caused by semis. No report was taken.
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police Department searching for a runaway juvenile on South Chillicothe Street in Plain City at 7:05 p.m., Friday.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper to take custody of Mary A. Hillyard, 41, of Marysville, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Hillyard was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Brian L. Allen, 48, of Urbana, for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:45 p.m.., Saturday. The arrestee was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Gregory G. Mehlhose, 36, of Marysville, was arrested for having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence and having open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. At 2:20 a.m., Saturday, deputies were sent to the 17000 block of Lombard Drive to investigate a suspicious 2015 Chrysler 300 that had been parked in a driveway for several hours. As a result of the investigation, Mehlhose was arrested. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office, and a report was taken.
Deputies responded to U.S. 33 near Route 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Cadillac Escalade that hit a deer at 7:13 a.m., Saturday. No report was taken.
Deputies were sent to a home in the 21000 block of Route 245 at 1:07 p.m., Saturday, to investigate criminal mischief involving nails that were thrown into a driveway. No report was taken.
At 6:04 p.m., Saturday, a deputy met with a Grove City Police Officer to take custody of Jason E. Moffitt, 47, of Hilliard, for an outstanding arrest warrant. The arrestee was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Southeast-Hardin-Northwest-Union Fire District responded to a home in the 34000 block of Route 31 for an overdose at 7:54 p.m., Saturday. The victim was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital. A report was taken.
Deputies responded to the 9500 block of Brock Road at 9:38 a.m., Sunday, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Honda Accord that drove off the road, hit a mailbox, and then left the scene. The vehicle was later located, and no report was taken.
A deputy met with a resident from West Catherine Street in Magnetic Springs at 2:02 p.m., Sunday, to investigate a neighbor dispute. No report was taken.
A deputy responded to U.S. 33 near Mitchell DeWitt Road at 3:40 p.m., Sunday, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Honda Civic that hit a deer. A crash report was taken.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 21000 block of Northwest Parkway at 8:33 p.m. Sunday, to investigate a trespassing complaint. No report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to a home in the 11000 block of Poppyseed Drive at 9:27 p.m., Sunday, to investigate a dispute between several juveniles and parents. No report was taken.
