According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Christopher L. Bayes, 32, of 265 Scotts Lawn Road, was arrested at 8:01 p.m., Tuesday, at his home, charged with violating a protection order.
Police were called to a home in the 1300 block of Woodline Drive at 12:12 p.m., Tuesday, on a complaint of theft by deception.
At 8:49 a.m., Tuesday, police responded to Route 31 at Creekview Drive after an unknown driver, headed south on Route 31 was entering the roundabout and hit a yield sign on the right side of the roadway. The driver did not stop.
Kelvin Noel Guzman, 30, of Columbus, was charged with failure to control at 4:16 p.m., Tuesday. Guzman was driving a G.M. 2500 with a trailer connected and left the roadway at the railroad crossing on Industrial Parkway at Scottslawn Road. Police reports indicate the truck was hit.
Shannon Matthew Foor, 41, of 722 Kenny Lane, was cited for improper backing following a two vehicle crash at 5:47 p.m., Tuesday. Foor was backing a 2018 Nissan Rogue out of a driveway in the 500 block of Brindle Drive, when he backed into a 2015 Ford Fusion parked on the street.
According to reports from the Union County Sheriff’s Office:
A deputy responded to U.S. 42 near Bell Road at 5:59 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Honda CR-V that struck a deer.
A deputy responded to the 23000 block of Hoover Bault Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2023 Jeep Gladiator that struck a deer at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to the 23000 block of Route 347 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Ford Focus that struck a coyote at 6:47 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to Route 739, east of Cunningham Arbela Road, for an injury crash involving a 2018 Kenworth dump truck that drove off the road, struck a driveway, three mailboxes, rolled onto its side and then slid off the opposite side of the roadway into a yard at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday. The driver, Joseph R. Myers, 49, of Lakeview, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 9500 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate the theft of keys from company vehicles at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Police Department and the Marysville Fire Department were sent to White Stone Road, north of U.S. 36, for a domestic violence incident involving a stepfather and a stepson that occurred in a vehicle at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday. As a result of the investigation, Michael J. Moseley, 40, of Radnor, was arrested for domestic violence. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of Begonia Drive to investigate identity theft involving the victim’s social security number at 9:16 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department were sent to a property on North Chillicothe Street in Plain City to investigate a person with a gun at 10:23 p.m. Tuesday. As a result of the investigation, Michael E. Hommon, 56, of Plain City, was arrested for aggravated menacing and using weapons while intoxicated. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail
A deputy was dispatched to the 15000 block of Wildwood Lane to take possession of a mountain bike that was found abandoned along the roadway at 10:44 p.m. Tuesday.
