A police responded to home in the 200 block of Professional Parkway at 10:37 a.m., Tuesday to respond to a theft complaint.
Police responded to a rape complaint at an unlisted address at 1:33 p.m., Tuesday.
According to sheriff’s reports:
Carmyn Sobas, 29, of Marysville, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control following an injury crash at 6:29 a.m., Tuesday. Sobas was driving a 2009 Honda CR-V on U.S. 33, west of Route 739, when the vehicle lost control, struck a 2023 Honda Passport, drove off the road and into a ditch and then rolled over. Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the scene. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. A crash report was taken.
A deputy and units from the Northwestern Fire District, Northeast Champaign County Fire District, Allen Township Fire Department, and the Marysville Fire Department responded to Inskeep Cratty Road near Route 245 at 6:45 a.m., Tuesday, to rescue a motorist caught in floodwater. The driver was moved to safety and no report was taken.
At 8:51 a.m., Tuesday, a deputy was sent to a home in the 7400 block of Brown Road to investigate identity theft. A report was taken.
A deputy met with a resident from the 14000 block of Gandy Eddy Road at 9:58 a.m., Tuesday, to investigate the theft and forgery of a mailed check. No report was taken.
A deputy took possession of a license plate that was found on South Mill Street near Railroad Street in Milford Center at 10:55 a.m., Tuesday. The owner was contacted and no report was taken.
A deputy arrested Christopher M. Kraus, 49, of Dublin, for an outstanding warrant when he turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office at 12:53 p.m., Tuesday. The arrestee was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
James N. Miller, 51, of Reynoldsburg, was arrested at 11:18 p.m., Tuesday, for an outstanding warrant from Madison County after a result of a traffic stop on Route 347 near State Route 31. Miller was taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.
Stephanie N. Carpenter, 31, of North Lewisburg, was issued a traffic citation for driving without a license following a crash at 11:48 p.m., Tuesday. Carpenter was driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee in the 25000 block of Darby Pottersburg Road. The vehicle lost control, struck a pothole and then rolled onto its side. A deputy and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the scene. A crash report was taken.
