From Marysville Division of Police Reports
Joseph Robert Ewing, 39, of Powell, was cited for theft at 4:40 p.m., Thursday following an incident at the Marysville Wal-Mart, 555 Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.
Parra Diaz Virgen, 29, of Miami, Florida, was cited for failure to control. At 12:10 p.m., Thursday, Virgen was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Trek, east on Industrial Parkway. Virgen attempted to turn left onto Scottslawn Road and lost control. Her vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, went through the grass and into the creek.
Police responded to the 100 block of East Seventh Street, near South Plum Street at 12:46 a.m., Friday, in response to a call of suspicious conditions. The case was marked as closed.

Deputies were sent to a property in the 26000 block of Kinney Pike at 1:57 a.m., Thursday, to investigate a trespassing complaint. No report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8300 block of Estates Parkway to investigate a fraudulent bank transaction. A report was taken.
A deputy was sent to a home in the 23000 block of Morse Road at 9:19 p.m., Thursday, to investigate the theft of mail. A report was taken.
A deputy was sent to a home in the 23000 block of Route 31 at 9:42 a.m., Thursday, to assist the Union County Department of Job and Family Services.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 8400 block of Estates Court at 3:34 p.m., Thursday, to investigate a fraudulent credit card transaction. No report was taken.
Elizabeth M. Shiflet, 34, of Canal Winchester, was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes. At 3:40 p.m., Thursday, Shiflet was driving a 2022 Volkswagen Taos on Route 42 at U.S. 33 when she was hit by a 2020 Peterbilt dump truck. Deputies responded to the scene to investigate. A crash report was taken.
At 5:19 p.m., Thursday, a deputy responded to the 12000 block of Lowe Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 Ford Edge that hit a deer. A crash report was taken.
