The Bunsold Middle School gymnastics team set a new school record for points on Wednesday.
The Lady Monarchs won a triangular match with 141.1 points against Olentangy and Worthingway.
That total broke the old record of 138.55 that was set during the team’s first season of competition in 2014.
Olentangy was the runner-up with 135.6 points and Worthingway tallied 132.2.
Bunsold’s top five placers in each event were as follows:
Vault
-Lyla Tabor, first, 9.2; Monica Lamb, fourth, 8.85.
Bars
-Tabor, first, 9.55 (new school record); Brianna Watkins, second, 9.45; Bella Grimm, fourth, 8.5; Abbey Bates, fifth, 8.4;
Beam
-Lamb, third, 8.9;
Floor exercise
-Tabor and Watkins, tied for first, 9.2, Bates, second, 9.0; Grimm, fifth, 8.7;
All-Around
-Tabor, first, 36.05; Watkins, second, 35.6, Lamb, fifth, 34.55.
