Ridgemont defeated Triad’s girls basketball team, 60-45, on Monday.
The Golden Gophers had a balanced scoring attack as four players finished in double figures.
Faith Jenkins led Ridgemont with 20 points and the balanced attack was too much for the Lady Cardinals to overcome.
Ridgemont led, 19-18, as the first quarter came to an end.
Triad managed just 15 points over the second and third periods and trailed, 42-33, as the fourth quarter began.
Frani LeVan led Triad, which will host Springfield Catholic Central on Thursday, with 19 points. Cati LeVan finished with 14.
Makenzie Cauley and Bailey Perry combined for 16 rebounds.
With the loss, Triad drops to 7-7 on the season. The Lady Cards will host Springfield Catholic Thursday night as they return to Ohio Heritage Conference play.

Lady Panthers fall
Fairbanks’ girls trailed 11-3 after the first quarter and fell at Grandview, 45-30.
FHS (1-13) pulled to within 19-14 at halftime, but trailed 34-22 by the end of the third quarter.
Michaela Writesel led Fairbanks, which will host Greeneview on Thursday, with 11 points.
