For the first time in history, all of the Pigskin Pickers posted perfect records.
Granted, there were only five games listed for a rather bland week of football.
All of the Pickers, though, were correct with each of their picks.
As a result, sports writer Sam Dillon barley leads the pack with an overall record of 93-32.
Publisher Kevin Behrens and The falling knife-Mac Cordell are a step behind him at 92-33.
Managing editor Chad Williamson stands at 88-37, sports editor Tim Miller is a game behind at 87-38 and reporter Will Channell is 85-40.
Today marks a couple of special events for the Pigskin Pickers.
First of all, it is our final regular-season list of games for the season. The year has surely gone fast since our first picks back in late August.
As such, we will take a few weeks off before we come out with our College Bowl Bonanza on Thursday, Dec. 13. Actually, that’s only three weeks away.
Secondly, we are adding a few extra games this week in honor of Thanksgiving. Normally, we just choose NFL games involving the Browns and Bengals.
The two Ohio teams play each other on Sunday and we’ve included three pro games that will be played on Turkey Day.
We’ve also added a couple of college games that don’t feature two Top 25 teams, but are traditional rivals, just to fatten up the holiday list.
Our guest Pickers are Dean Cook, Dave Laslow and Bob Van Hoose.

Disclaimers:
Williamson: “Ugh. While I love Michigan’s team this year, rivalry games always take funny turns. Still, I like the Wolverines’ defensive line matchup against Ohio State’s offensive line, even without Winovich. They will need to get pressure on Haskins. I would not be surprised at all to see Ohio State work Martell into the game plan quite a bit in order to hit Michigan with a run-pass-option package. Lord knows the Wolverines have shown a proclivity to be victimized by dual-threat QBs. Go Blue.”
Behrens: “Listen to Wee Willy Williamson try to tip toe like a belly dancer around the fact that he realizes Michigan is really not that good. If they are a top four team with the number one defense in the nation, they should be favored by more than three over OSU. The odds makers have all but confirmed Wee Willy’s worries. As far as Dillon winning anything, he may beat me to the line for Thanksgiving dinner but he doesn’t have the stamina to outlast me in the Pickers Race.”
Dillon: “I picked Michigan, I’m not happy about it, but as the current Pigskin Picker leader, I have to make some tough choices and I choose to beat Behrens.”
Miller: “Ohio State has dominated the Wolverines for the past several years. The Buckeyes may have their hands full this year.”
Cordell: “Locally, everyone is focused on The Game, for good reason, but this week’s slate of college games is a real feast. There really is a lot on the line for a lot of teams. I think this year’s Apple Cup looks like a lot of with a lot on the line. I think the Huskies will be able to run the ball in what is expected to be a wintery mix of weather. The Mountain West Conference match-up looks good, but I just think Boise is a better team with better players and more experience.”
Channell: “Go Wolverines!”
Cook: “Happy Thanksgiving!”
Laslow: “Go Bucks!”
Van Hoose: “Go Bucks!”
