Fairbanks’ boys basketball squad needed just 24 hours to rebound from Friday’s tough loss at Southeastern.
Just a day after that one-point setback, the Panthers (8-7) rolled over Benjamin Logan, 55-40.
FHS (which will host Cedarville on Friday) had a solid second quarter.
The Panthers held a 10-4 margin at the end of the opening period and took a 35-21 lead into the halftime break.
Sean Galsterer tallied seven of his team-high 15 points during the second frame.
The Raiders were limited to just five points during the third quarter.
As such, Fairbanks led, 47-26, as the fourth period began.

The Lady Cats slipped to 9-6 on the season with a 58-48 setback.

JA girls roll
The Lady Pioneers upped their record to 12-2 by clubbing Kenton Ridge, 79-30.
JA (which will travel to Indian Lake on Wednesday) jumped out to a 26-9 lead after the opening period and took a 42-17 lead into the turn.
The Cougars continued to struggle during the third set as Alder climbed to a 62-26 advantage.
Sydney Bourquin led JA with 18 points, followed by Abby Jones-17, Melissa Walbom-14 and Sophie Zawodny-10.

The Lady Cardinals slipped to 2-13 with a 61-32 loss to West Jefferson.
Triad stayed within striking distance during the first half and trailed 21-17 at the break.
