The football teams from Fairbanks and Indian Lake lost out to inclement weather on Friday evening.
The game, which was being played on the Lakers’ home field, was suspended by lightning with 59 seconds left in the second quarter.
The Panthers led, 7-6, when the contest was suspended for the evening.
Fairbanks’ touchdown came in the first quarter.
Quarterback A.J. Landon tossed a 15-yard scoring strike to Riordin Stauffer. Cade Ziegler booted the extra point.
The game is scheduled to resume at the point of its suspension at 7 p.m. today.
