The Lady Panthers of Fairbanks improved their volleyball record to 9-5 overall and 8-2 in the Ohio Heritage Conference.
FHS swept Greeneview 25-13, 25-12, 25-14 on Thursday.
Kaelyn Sphapmixay came through with another stellar match.
She was 14-for-17 serving with five aces.
Sphapmixay also tallied 12 digs and 27 assists.
Other top stats were as follows:
-Lizzie Nicol: 17-of-17 serving with one ace and nine digs;
-Grace Gorton: 14-for-16 serving, four aces, five digs;
-Caydee Breneman: 13-of-15 hitting with nine kills;
-Ellee Johnson: 10-for-10 serving and 12-of-13 hitting with six kills.

NU wins in five
North Union’s varsity spikers won a five-set battle against London.
The Lady Cats (11-1 overall and 5-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference) led 2-0 after game victories of 25-11, 25-21.
The Red Raiders rallied for 25-23, 25-17 verdicts during the next two sets.
That sent the match into a fifth game, which North Union claimed with a 16-14 win.
Journey Blevins blasted 26 kills and Grace Brandt added 10.
Blevins, Kayla Sedgwick and Jordyn Hoffman combined for 43 digs.

MHS spikers drop match
The Lady Monarchs of Marysville dropped a match to Olentangy.
MHS (4-7) fell in three sets by scores of 15-25, 14-25, 16-25.
Larissa Smith and Carys Gossett topped the team in kills (no numbers reported).
Alyssa Codner and Morgan Shick led the defensive effort.
Marysville will play at Berne Union on Saturday.

Bunsold squads fall
Marysville’s seventh and eighth grade Blue spikers fell to Jonathan Alder.
Bunsold dropped the seventh-grade match 16-25, 25-14, 23-25.
The eighth-grade lost 17-25, 13-25.
