The Lady Panthers of Fairbanks upped their volleyball record to 7-5 on Saturday with a 3-1 victory over Bellefontaine.
FHS won the first set 25-13 and then fell 23-25.
Fairbanks claimed the next two games by scores of 25-20, 25-18.
Jayda Rausch led the Lady Panthers with 18 kills, while Anna Higbee added 13.
Fairbanks finished the match with 58 total kills.
Rausch also tallied four of FHS’ 11 ace serves.
Fairbanks served 86.6% for the contest.

NU triumphs
The Lady Cat spikers improved to 9-1 by rolling past Springfield Shawnee 25-11, 25-14, 25-19.
Journey Blevins smashed 25 kills over the net, while Kaitlyn DeLauter added eight.
Grace Brandt and Blevins both finished with a pair of ace serves.
Blevins and Kayla Sedgewick combined for 24 digs.

Lady Monarchs fall
Marysville’s spikers dropped a 21-25, 23-25, 9-25 verdict at Pickerington Central.
Carys Gossett led MHS (4-5) with five kills, while Jillian Gardner, Alyssa Codner, Larissa Smith and Ella Morris each tallied three.
Morris and Sarah Peterson each notched a pair of ace serves.
