Fairbanks’ softball record slipped to 13-2-1 overall and 10-2 in the Ohio Heritage Conference with Friday’s 2-1, eight-inning setback at Southeastern
Macy Kise yielded six hits and struck out eight in the pitching circle for the Lady Panthers.
FHS had five hits – one apiece from Hailey Dee, Jenna Dee, Tiffini Hendren and Maddi Sines.
Jenna Dee drove in the Lady Panthers’ run in the visitors’ portion of the fifth inning.

Panthers drop game
The FHS baseball squad also fell at Southeastern by a 5-3 count.
Cole Justus and Dayne Madison both finished with a pair of hits for the Panthers.
Justus, Aiden Luellen and Hayden Queen drove in runs.
Madison went the distance on the mound.
He allowed six hits and struck out two.
The Panthers slipped to 8-6 overall and 6-3 in the Ohio Heritage Conference.

Cardinals lose twice
Triad’s baseball team is now 0-15 overall and 0-11 in the OHC after two losses, one of which was a conference contest.
The Cardinals dropped a 10-6 verdict to circuit rival Greenon and fell 12-1 to Riverside.
Brodey Deam had two of Triad’s five hits against Greenon.
Blayk Thomas and Colton Thomas both had two RBIs.
Gage Heitman took the loss for the Cardinals. He allowed seven earned runs and walked eight in 4 1/3 innings.

The Cardinals were limited to two hits – one each by Deam and Colton Thomas – during the setback to Riverside in non-conference action.

JVs sweep twinbill
The Marysville JV softball team swept a doubleheader against Teays Valley.
The Lady Monarchs clubbed the Vikings 11-1 in the initial contest.
Kylie Levings went the distance in the pitching circle to notch the win.
Jillian Rausch, Abigail Bryant, Savannah Jenkins, Levings and Jovie Traucht each finished with two hits.
Addison Altizer had a home run.
The Lady Monarchs rolled to a 14-0 triumph during the nightcap.
Savannah Jenkins was the winning pitcher.
She tallied a trio of hits, while Abigail Bryant finished with two.
