The Lady Monarch varsity soccer squad rallied from a 2-0 deficit to tie Columbus Bishop Watterson, 2-2, on Saturday.
The contest marked MHS’ first home match of the 2021 campaign.
Marysville found itself trailing, 2-0, after the first 10 minutes of the game.
Eagle scores came from Brooklyn Scythes and Syndey Workman.
The Lady Monarchs capitalized on two stellar shots from outside the 18-yard line to tie the score.
Makenna Renevier took a pass from Kasey Duke and slammed the ball into the net with 4:54 remaining in the opening half.
The Lady Monarchs trailed by the slim 2-1 margin as both teams went into the halftime break.
The Eagles maintained the upper hand until very late in the contest.
With approximately four minutes left in the game, Duke swiped the ball from an Eagle opponent.
She dribbled into scoring range and put the ball in the air.
