For the last 59 years, Brecksville has been home to one of the premier holiday wrestling tournaments in the state of Ohio.
The tournament has always garnered national attention because of the quality of competitors and being known as the longest-running tournament in the nation.
The Marysville Monarchs have been a part of the tournament history for the last 15 years and have had several champions over the course of time.
This is the first season the local squad was shut out on the individual awards stand.
The second day started on Monday with four Monarchs left in the consolations and fighting to stay alive to place.
Lincoln Heard went 2-2, Erryl Will was 3-2, Joey Palmer was 1-2 and Zach McMinn was 3-2.
