Marysville High School’s baseball program will observe its annual Hays-Hoehn ceremony today.
The ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Monarchs’ home game against Teays Valley.
The game will begin at 11 a.m., with the ceremony to be held after the contest.
The ceremony will remember former Monarch assistant baseball coach John Hays, who died as the result of an automobile accident a number of years ago.
It will also remember former Monarch player Corey Hoehn, who died from cancer while in high school.
Weather alters schedules
Friday’s early rain played havoc with local games.
Marysville’s softball game against Dublin Coffman, which was rescheduled for Friday due to Thursday’s inclement weather, is now scheduled for Tuesday.
The first pitch will be at 5:15 p.m. on the Lady Monarchs’ diamond.
Fairbanks’ varsity baseball game at home against Northeastern will be played on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
