Jackson Izzard and Logan Stevens both scored 17 points on Tuesday as the Pioneers of Jonathan Alder rolled past Urbana, 54-31.
Both tallied nine of their points from beyond the three-point arc.
The Pioneers (12-2 overall, 6-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division) held a 13-6 margin after the opening period and took a 27-16 lead into the turn.
The Hillclimbers’ offense really went cold during the second half.
JA limited Urbana to seven points during the third quarter and held a 37-23 advantage as the final period began.

Marysville’s girls varsity squad won its third consecutive game.
The Lady Monarchs upped their record to 7-10 by blasting Franklin Heights, 84-26.

Lady Panthers fall
Fairbanks’ girls slipped to 6-9 on the season with a 46-36 loss to Buckeye Valley.
Neither team moved the scoreboard very well during the opening period as the eight-minute set ended in a 4-4 stalemate.
BV took a 14-13 edge at halftime and a 31-24 margin into the final quarter.
Macy Miller and Elaina Lahmers respectively led the Lady Panthers in scoring with 12 and 11 points.
Miller also topped FHS in rebounds (11) and assists (two).

Triad drops contest
The Cardinal boys tumbled to 1-12 on the season with a 73-52 loss to Fairlawn.
Triad trailed, 18-10, after the first period.
Fairlawn opened up a 42-27 lead by halftime and took a 64-39 spread into the fourth quarter.
Ayden Spriggs led the Cardinals with 18 points, while Drew Campbell tossed in 13.
