Jonathan Alder made a clean sweep of the Central Buckeye Conference middle school track championships at Benjamin Logan.
The Pioneers totaled 101 points in the boys meet. Bellefontaine was second with 93 points and North Union was third with 76 points.
Jonathan Alder had just two first place finishes (4×400 and 4×800), but placed in all but two events.
Helped by a strong showing in the relay events, the Lady Pioneers finished with 94 points, edging second-place North Union by four points.
They won two relay events, 4×800 and 4×400, and were no worse than third in the other two.
Finley Streit picked up two individual firsts, winning the 1600 (5:49.24) and 800 (2:39.75).
Earning individual first-place honors for the North Union boys team were Zaim Habib (110 hurdles, 17.75), Broden O’Reilly (discus, 143-4) and Collin Welch (pole vault, 9-6).
The Wildcats also won the 4×200.
Glory Blevins was the lone individual winner for the Lady Cats, leading the high jump with a leap of 4-8.
North Union also finished first in the 4×800.
