Marysville’s boys lacrosse team has begun the season with a 1-2 record.
The Monarchs beat John Glenn High School, 11-9.
MHS was led by David Bonczak (five goals), Mark Frendberg (three goals), and Adam Platt (one goal).
Cory Weinbrecht and Vanyn Fultz each scored once.
Chris Wilson turned away four shots on goal.
The Monarchs dropped a 16-2 verdict to Delaware Hayes.
Frendberg and Max Shroyer each notched a goal.
Griffin Ahlstrom had seven saves in the net for Marysville.
The Monarchs also fell to Beavercreek, 9-3.
Bonczak, Grendon Kovinchick and Fultz each tallied a goal.
Ahlstrom finished with 10 saves.
